We are delighted to announce that our school secured Second Position in S.K. Sharma Memorial Interschool Marching Competition organised by Mamta Modern School, Vikaspuri on 21 April 2026. The team displayed remarkable discipline, coordination, and unity throughout their performance.

Adding to this achievement, Tavleen Arora of Class IV also brought laurels by securing  Second Position in Interschool Yogasana Competition (Satish Yogamrit -The Nector of Life) under the age group of 8-12 years.Her performance reflected confidence, discipline, and strong team spirit, making it another proud moment for the school.

Principal Ma’am congratulated both the team and Tavleen for their commendable achievements and encouraged all students to participate actively and strive for excellence in such events.

To promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and the importance of yoga in daily life, the Intra Yoga Club Competition was conducted on 24 April 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation.

Students from various age groups participated actively and presented a series of asanas with confidence, flexibility, and precision. The competition included asanas, poses and viva.

कला, कल्पना और इतिहास के अद्भुत संगम के साथ दिनांक 24 अप्रैल 2026 को कक्षा प्रथम के विद्यार्थियों के लिए “इतिहास की कहानी कठपुतली की ज़बानी” प्रतियोगिता का भव्य आयोजन किया गया।

इस प्रतियोगिता में विद्यार्थियों ने कठपुतली या ऐतिहासिक पात्रों की वेशभूषा धारण कर रोचक ढंग से इतिहास की कहानियाँ प्रस्तुत कीं। बच्चों ने आत्मविश्वास और उत्साह के साथ अपनी प्रस्तुति देकर सभी का मन मोह लिया। इस गतिविधि ने उन्हें इतिहास की घटनाओं को सरल और रोचक तरीके से समझने का अवसर प्रदान किया। साथ ही, इससे उनकी अभिव्यक्ति क्षमता, रचनात्मकता और मंच पर बोलने का कौशल विकसित हुआ।

कार्यक्रम अत्यंत सफल रहा और इसने विद्यार्थियों के सीखने के अनुभव को आनंददायक एवं प्रभावशाली बनाया।

The ATL Community Day celebrations concluded on 22nd April 2026 with an inspiring Session on Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship.

The session was conducted by Ms. Rashmi Jain, Founder of Thinkers & Innovators Club, a seasoned expert with over 17 years of experience in Digital Transformation, Product Innovation, and Program Management. A certified professional in Design Thinking and Innovation from Harvard Business School, she has worked extensively in AI/ML-driven product development and has been actively mentoring startups and innovation programs.

During the session, students were introduced to structured problem-solving approaches and encouraged to think creatively while addressing real-world challenges. They explored key stages of design thinking such as empathy, ideation, prototyping, and innovation.

The discussion on entrepreneurship motivated students to transform their ideas into impactful solutions and develop leadership and initiative. Adding depth to the session, a few students already engaged in earning initiatives shared their entrepreneurial experiences, making the workshop more relatable and application-based.

The session was highly interactive and provided valuable real-world insights, leaving students inspired to become future innovators and change-makers.

The spirit of innovation continued on 20th April 2026 with an exciting Hands-on Tinkering Session conducted by an expert from Stemrobo.

Students explored the fundamentals of electronics, robotics, and DIY model-making through practical activities. Working in groups, they actively engaged in building and experimenting, which enhanced their understanding of concepts in a fun and interactive way.

The session also included an engaging interschool quiz competition on ATL equipment, adding an element of excitement and healthy competition, where various schools from all over Delhi participated. Result of the Quiz completion was as follows:

Winner : Arjun Kalra of class IX and Roshan Kumar of class VII from NK Bagrodia Public School, Rohini.
Runner Up : Ekamjot Singh Gill and Vansh Sharma of class XII from Mamta Modern Sr Sec School, Vikas Puri.

The participation of students from other schools made the event even more enriching, promoting collaboration and exchange of ideas.

The session was a great success, leaving students inspired to explore and innovate further.

On 17th April 2026, students of Classes VI to VIII actively participated in Classroom-based ATL Activities as part of ATL Community Day.

Guided by their teachers, students engaged in hands-on activities using ATL kits, transforming classrooms into vibrant innovation spaces filled with creativity, collaboration, and excitement.

Each class enthusiastically worked on different activities:
• Class VIII designed and raced Balloon-powered Cars (Activity 5: Fast and Curious), exploring concepts like Newton’s laws of motion, friction, and energy.
• Class VII constructed Newspaper Bridges (Activity 7: Can We Build It?), focusing on strength, stability, and basic engineering principles.
• Class VI created Balloon Structures (Activity 8: Balloon Train), learning teamwork, planning, and structural design.

The activities not only enhanced students’ understanding of STEM concepts but also promoted teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The enthusiasm and active participation of students made the sessions highly engaging and meaningful.

This initiative truly reflected the spirit of experiential learning, encouraging students to learn by doing and think innovatively.

As part of ATL Community Day, our school conducted an insightful Workshop on Responsible Digital Citizenship on 17th April 2026 for the students of Class XII.

The session focused on the importance of using digital platforms safely, responsibly, and ethically in today’s technology-driven world. Students were made aware of key aspects such as online safety, digital footprint, cyber ethics, and responsible use of social media.

The workshop was conducted by distinguished resource persons Mr. Prathamn Mehta, associated with Operations – Skills & Livelihood at NIIT Foundation, and Mr. Mohit Kumar, a Cyber Security Specialist at NIIT Foundation. Their expertise and real-world insights enriched the session, making it highly interactive and impactful.

Through engaging discussions and practical examples, students were encouraged to become mindful digital citizens who use technology responsibly while contributing positively to the digital community.

This initiative helped students understand their roles and responsibilities in the digital space, preparing them to navigate the online world with awareness and confidence.

Our school proudly kickstarted the ATL Community Day celebrations on 15th April 2026 with an exciting Live Demonstration of Innovative Projects in the Atal Tinkering Lab.

The event showcased the creativity and innovation of our ATL students, who confidently presented their projects and explained their working models to fellow students. Throughout the day, classes visited the Atal Tinkering Lab in an organized manner, giving everyone an opportunity to witness hands-on applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The demonstration covered a wide range of student-made projects, reflecting problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and real-world application of ideas. The young innovators not only displayed their technical knowledge but also enhanced their communication and presentation skills while interacting with their peers.

The session proved to be highly engaging and inspiring, encouraging students to think creatively and explore the world of innovation. It also fostered a spirit of peer learning, where students learned from each other’s ideas and approaches.

The event marked a wonderful beginning to the ATL Community Day celebrations, setting the tone for a week full of learning, creativity, and innovation.

M.M. Public School, New Delhi, hosted the 69th National School Games for Lawn Tennis (U-17 Boys) from 16th April 2026 to 22nd April 2026, organized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi.

The event witnessed participation from 24 teams, with around 120 players and 48 officials from across the country. 

The event successfully promoted sportsmanship and competitive spirit among students and concluded on a positive note.

The English Club organized an Essay Writing Competition to promote creative writing and awareness among students on 21 April 2026. The topic, “Healthy Citizens are the Greatest Asset for the Country,” encouraged participants to reflect on the importance of health in national development. Students from both junior and senior categories participated with great enthusiasm.

The entries were evaluated on content, clarity, creativity, and grammatical accuracy. Participants presented insightful ideas, highlighting how a healthy population contributes to a stronger and more productive nation.
