Disha of Class XI brought laurels to the school by securing Second Position in the PowerPoint Presentation category at the All India School Contest 2025 (North Zone), organised by the Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE), Mumbai. The competition aimed to promote sustainable plastic waste management.

She presented innovative ideas on sustainable practices and was awarded for her commendable performance by Mr. Sudheer Khurana, Deputy Director, ICPE, Mumbai, during a special felicitation ceremony.

The competition, based on the theme of recycling and reuse of plastics, provided a platform for young innovators to present eco-friendly and impactful models. World Health Day, celebrated on 7 April 2026 during morning assembly, was a powerful expression of unity, awareness, and responsibility towards health. The theme, “Together for Health: Stand with Science,” encouraged young minds to trust evidence, question myths, and make informed choices.

The celebration came alive through inspiring narratives—from Dr. Dilip Mahalanabis, who curbed a cholera outbreak by giving a simple solution, and Zara, a modern student who chose facts over fear. These stories reinforced the importance of curiosity and critical thinking, urging students to always ask, “Where’s the proof?” The Science Brain Challenge thereafter tested students’ knowledge. Beautiful poem and skit put up by students reminded to adopt healthy eating habits and lead balanced lives.

The assembly concluded with a meaningful and spiritual yoga session and several other takeaways: Ask one question. Verify one fact. Share one truth. —because when we stand united with science, we pave the way for a healthier and brighter future for all.

The new academic session for Classes III to V commenced on an enthusiastic note with a vibrant Fun Day organised on Monday, 6 April 2026, providing an engaging and joyful start to the year.

Students actively participated in a variety of outdoor activities such as Relay Race, Tug of War and Obstacle Race fostering physical fitness, teamwork and a spirit of healthy competition. Indoor activities including Pop-Up Balloons, Match and Place, and “Who Am I?” encouraged creativity, participation, and critical thinking.

The students also watched the video on School Tour familiarising with the Visionary Founders of the school, Revered Director Sir, Respected Principal Ma’am and Infrastructure of the school. The day also provided an opportunity for students to interact with and get to know their teachers, helping them feel comfortable and connected.

The day created a positive and welcoming atmosphere, setting an inspiring tone for a productive and enriching academic session ahead.

With sparkling eyes and boundless excitement, the young learners of Balvatika 1 embarked on a delightful school tour on 6 April 2026. They explored different areas of the campus and had the wonderful opportunity to meet the respected Principal Ma’am, making the experience truly memorable. The visit helped them feel more comfortable and connected to their school.  It enhanced their familiarity with the surroundings, boosted their confidence, and encouraged positive social interaction.

With sparkling eyes and joyful laughter filling the air, the little learners of Class Balvatika 1 embraced a delightful day of exploration and bonding on 2nd April 2026. The children enthusiastically got to know their teacher, their classroom, and their new environment through engaging interactions. Exciting activities like “Paint the Balloon” and “Drop the Ball to the Finish Line” were thoughtfully planned to enhance their motor skills in a playful manner. The “Know Your Teacher” session helped build a warm and trusting connection. The day was filled with smiles, creativity, and active participation. It was truly a wonderful experience of learning with fun and happiness!

The new academic session commenced on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, with enthusiasm and positivity. To mark this new milestone, students were warmly welcomed with a traditional Tilak Ceremony, symbolizing blessings and good fortune. A welcome address was delivered to inspire students, encouraging them to embrace new opportunities, set meaningful goals, and strive for excellence in every endeavour.

Adding a meaningful dimension to the day, students watched the movie “Night at the Museum”, which served as more than just entertainment. The film beautifully highlighted the importance of history, curiosity, imagination, and the value of learning beyond textbooks. It encouraged students to see knowledge as lively and engaging, sparking their interest in exploring the past and understanding its relevance in the present.

The day truly reflected the spirit of holistic education—blending tradition, inspiration, and experiential learning.

The first day of school on 1st April 2026 ushered in a joyful and vibrant start for the Pre-Primary wing, setting a positive tone for the new academic session. A specially curated induction programme for the students of Balvatika 1 featured warm introductions and engaging, activity-based interactions that created a welcoming and comforting atmosphere.

For K.G. I and II, thoughtfully planned activities added excitement and enthusiasm, filling the day with laughter, curiosity, and eager participation. An interactive orientation session for the parents of Balvatika 1 further strengthened the bond between the school and families, fostering trust and collaboration from the very beginning.
