A sacred Hawan Ceremony was organised for the students of Class IV on 12th August 2026 to nurture spiritual and moral values and connect students with Indian traditions. Students participated devoutly in the chanting of Vedic mantras, offered ahuti, joined the aarti, and received prasad. Pandit Ji explained the significance of the rituals, inspiring students to embrace gratitude, discipline, respect, and positivity.

Grade II students brought India’s vibrant spirit alive, dressed in beautiful attires showcasing the diverse colours and rich cultural heritage of our nation, during the My Performance Competition – “Dastaan-E-Hindustan”, held on 11th August 2026.

Each participant confidently presented their chosen theme with enthusiasm, creativity, and patriotic spirit. The performances beautifully reflected India’s unity in diversity and its rich cultural heritage. The event provided students with a wonderful platform to express themselves and celebrate the spirit of our nation. The vibrant presentations filled the atmosphere with joy, pride, and patriotic fervour.

The school-level round of the Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27, a CBSE initiative, was organised on 10 August 2026 with the theme “Cooking Without Fire.” The activity provided students of Classes VI to VIII with an opportunity to showcase their culinary creativity while promoting the importance of hygiene, nutrition, teamwork, and time management.

Working in pairs, the young participants prepared and presented dishes under three categories—Canapés, Sandwiches, and Salads. With no use of stoves or flames, students transformed everyday ingredients into colourful, nutritious, and creatively presented culinary delights. Each team worked within the stipulated time and confidently presented its creations before the judges. The participants were assessed on key parameters including taste, presentation, creativity, hygiene, and time management.

It was a meaningful experiential-learning that reinforced CBSE’s emphasis on developing practical skills and nurturing well-rounded, confident learners beyond the conventional classroom.

6 अगस्त 2026 को एम.एम. पब्लिक स्कूल में हिंदी सदन  में वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों की अभिव्यक्ति क्षमता, भाषा शैली, तार्किक चिंतन और वाक्-पटुता को प्रोत्साहित करना था। विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेते हुए दिए गए विषय के पक्ष और विपक्ष में अपने-अपने विचार अत्यंत प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत किए। सभी प्रतिभागियों के तर्क और मंच संचालन में आत्मविश्वास दर्शनीय था।

दिनांक 6 अगस्त 2026 को जी.बी.एस.एस.एस. वजीरपुर  अशोक विहार  में क्षेत्रीय स्तर पर नाटक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें एम.एम.पब्लिक स्कूल के छात्रों ने चौथा स्थान प्राप्त किया।विद्यालय विजेता विद्यार्थियों को बधाई देते हुए उनके भावी जीवन के लिए शुभकामनाएँ देता है।

Dressed as their favourite cartoon characters, the young participants captivated the audience with colourful costumes, creative props, expressive dialogues, and confident performances. Bringing beloved characters to life with remarkable enthusiasm and imagination, they showcased their acting skills, creativity, and stage confidence, making the event both entertaining and memorable.
