Making of Sandwich Activity

To inculcate the habit of healthy eating, SANDWICH MAKING activity was organized for grade U.K.G Learners. Little children turned into master chefs. The facilitator taught the meaning of the words like the edge of the bread, Spreading butter, laying cucumber, tomato etc. Children thoroughly enjoyed making sandwiches and relished them too!

Celebration sparks joy. Joy facilitates learning.

Birthday Celebration are important for Emotional and Social development of children. Parties/Celebrations in itself is a self esteem booster of each individual. It creates a special bond of friendship and leave great memories in the mind of children which last for the life time.

To inculcate social development amongst children a Mock Birthday was organized for the pals of grade L.K.G. Children were made familiar with the words like Invitation, Comfortable, Blow the candle, Light the candle, Welcome goody bags, Bursting of balloons etc. Children enjoyed a special value education story on ”Birthday Party”. They were thrilled to have different tattoos at the tattoo station. The party ended with cake cutting followed by a rhythmic dance done by little hearts of grade L.K.G.

Children were beaming with Birthday Bliss.

Dramatization of Doctor’s

Dramatization of Doctor’s Clinic was celebrated with the Pre-Schoolers with great fervor.

Young M.M.Pians used their creativity to act out the roles of Doctors, nurses and patients. Teacher helped them to demonstrate their knowledge of clinic by acting out medical procedures.

Little ones enhanced their gross and fine motor skills by manipulating the tools which were provided to them in School Infirmary.

Children were also made familiar with the words like – Syrup, Tablet, Stethoscope, Syringe etc.

They also got acquaint with sentences like –

  • The doctor is listening to my chest.
  • The injection hurts.

It was indeed a day of Learning by doing.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

77th Independence Day patriotic fervor was celebrated by the pals of Pre-Primary sections in all its solemnity and grandeur “WITNESS THE ARDUOUS FREEDOM”

Little pals portrayed the actions happened during the kargil war by the brave Indian Army.

The endless sacrifice of Major Vikram Batra was showcased beautifully through a play followed by many patriotic dances.

It was indeed a day of Joy, a day of understanding the value of freedom and personify the essence of Independence, Peace and Unity in Diversity.

PROMOTION OF SDG GOAL NO.4 BY PRESENTATION ON 'QUALITATIVE EDUCATION BY CLASS 5

To enhance the knowledge of students at primary level the presentation on 'Qualitative Education' was held in MM Public School under SDG Goal no.4 on August 14, 2023. The presentation was a tribute to the spirit of freedom and a way to show the talent of students across various subjects and domains. It started with the chanting of spiritual shlokas followed by a melodious welcome song welcoming honorable Director sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and respected principal mam Mrs. Rooma Pathak.

The presentation started with a beautiful dance performance where students did various asanas mixing it with the harmony of music . Knowledge of Hindi was imparted through a presentation on "Sangya," showcasing various kinds of nouns. The English language was enhanced through display of a skit centered around the concept of tenses, telling a wonderfully weaved story.The Mathematics segment changed difficult arithmetic operations into an interactive experience through role play, followed by a dynamic presentation on monuments of India under Environment Studies, and made the audience appreciate the rich cultural heritage of India.

Another dance performance was done where students added more colors to the presentation, telling the importance of Performing Arts in Education. A fun-filled activity was conducted where parents had also participated. The presentation concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of unity and patriotism among everyone. The students also shared a heartfelt note for the day and thanked everyone for joining.

Everyone applauded the students for their creativity and dedication. Overall, the presentation was conducted in a beautiful manner, imparting learning experiences, joy, happiness and remembering our freedom struggle at the same time, leaving a lasting impact on all the attendees.

To assess scientific temperament, knowledge, reasoning, and the ability to apply scientific principles in real-life situations, students from class V to XII appeared in KAMP-NASTA 2022.

 

The National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude (NASTA) is an important initiative undertaken by CSIR-NIScPR and NCPL to promote scientific thinking, curiosity, and analytical skills among young minds. It covers various domains such as logical reasoning, computational thinking, design thinking, scientific literacy, innovation and creativity.

 

The students performed exceptionally well and received certificates of excellence. Honorable Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak congratulated the students and encouraged them to do better in the forthcoming NASTA-2023.

NCC CAMP

The National Cadet Corps grooms the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The young MMPIANS developed their character and enhanced their spirit of adventure service by attending the CATC Camp held from 25th May 2023 to 03rd June 2023 at DG NCC Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt..

Cadets have learnt about leadership, a sense of responsibility, self-discipline and self-defense. Students did various activities like March Past, Shooting, Mock Drills, Firing, Games, Drawing Competition and Different Exercises.

Cadets visited India Gate and National War Memorial. All the cadets received participation certificates.

The entire training session was highly beneficial for the students to follow the motto of NCC “Unity and Discipline” to be secular and disciplined citizens of the Nation.

MMPians at National Television on Disaster Management program 'Aapda Ka Saamna '

As students are change makers and help in bringing awareness in society and nation scholars of M.M. Public School were invited to be a part of national telecast on Aapda ka Samna, an awareness program by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) at Doordarshan on Sunday, 11 June 2023 .

The eminent speakers Rajender Singh (Member NDMA), Dr. Sunita Reddy ( Professor JNU), Hemlata Bhirwani (Scientist IMD) and Manoj Kumar Yadav ( DIG NDRF) shared the necessary guidelines and precautionary measures with students during the live telecast at https://youtu.be/qqPZ_2gWaMs.which was also helpful to enhance knowledge about safety measures to be taken during natural calamities like flood especially in urban areas

During the discussion, the panel shared relevant and significant information about the types of floods and the reasons that cause them and also informed the students , to face monsoon season without any hurdles, as the students can spread awareness not only about the risk management and precautionary measures but also fill the gap between the agencies and the society so that the affected people especially homeless ones can be provided assistance.

The ' queries of students regarding the risk reduction and mitigation were further resolved by the speakers MMPians resolved to follow and practice the guidelines in issued by National Disaster Management of India. Thus the session proved to be knowledgeable and inspirational.
