To celebrate the invaluable contribution of educators in shaping the future of students, teachers had a gala time together on 5 September 2023, watching a movie at Cinepolis with the school administration.

All the teachers presented a token of appreciation to the Respected Principal Ma'am Mrs. Rooma Pathak and the honourable Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak who had also joined this celebration.

Laughter, personal anecdotes and light-hearted banter filled the air as teachers unwind and enjoy themselves. Gifts and greetings were exchanged among teachers and some beautiful memories were made and captured which was followed by a shared meal at McDonald's making it a more cherishable day.

Overall, it was a memorable celebration that focused on bonding among teachers and management which lifted the spirits of everyone present.

Krishna ,Krishna the true essence of sacrifice and spirituality gives the message to remain in unity and purity

To celebrate the birth of great Lord Krishna the festival of janamahtami was celebrated with full zeal and fervour in a special assembly in school premises on Wednesday 6 September, 2023.

The celebration commenced with thought of the day on embracing the teachings of Lord Krishna by Sarah from Class VI A was followed by melodious recital of shlokas of sacred text Bhagwad Gita by Khushi and Ritwi of class VI. The mesmerizing portrayal of Krishna Leela by the students of Class VI A made the students gain knowledge about Lord Krishna’s birth and his life. The speech by Unzila and dance performance on “Jo Krishna hai ul bela Who ” marked the celebration of birth of Lord Krishna.

A crown making competition for the students of class II was followed by decoration of a butter pot and a 3D card by class III and IV students . Idol making of Lord Krishna using clay by middle wing. Pot decoration was done by senior wing of the school.

Overall, the Janmashtami celebration was a beautiful mix of devotion, talent, and spiritual feelings. It not only honoured Lord Krishna but also taught students about the good qualities and lessonshe believed in. The assembly reminded students of the wisdom and love that Lord Krishna represents.

Janmashtami or Gokulashtami-The Birth of Lord krishna is an important festival and a grand celebration in India.To seek the blessings of lord krishna ,the festival of JANMASHTAMI UTSAV was celebrated in M.M Public School by the students of L.K.G, U.K.G and Grade1.

The day commenced with a splendid and colourful programme presented by little pals depicting the significance of the festival.

Various Bal Leela’s, dances ,quotes filled the air with joy and festive spirit. The tiny pals of the Pre-Primary were made aware about Indian Tradition customs and culture by participating in gala event and also by engaging them in various activities like Flute making ,Matki decoration and worksheets which started a week before Janmashtami. The parents, teacher and students were also served prasad. On this sweet note the celebration ended.

The celebration was indeed informative, enlightening and entertaining for all the students as well as parents.

The students also received homework assignments related to the G 20 Summit during the holidays of the promising day, which further enhanced their knowledge and interest in global affairs.

The premises of MM Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura were filled with patriotism and excitement as the school celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The celebration was held in both the primary and middle wings, with students from classes II to IX participating in various engaging activities.

In the primary wing, students from classes II and III were dressed up in patriotic costumes for a special competition. The students researched their selected freedom fighter's life, achievements, and the role they played in securing India's independence and displayed it creatively along with their costumes. Students from classes IV and V drew pictures of famous monuments in India. It was amazing to see their creativity and enthusiasm in remembering the country's rich heritage.

In the middle wing and senior wing, students from classes VI to IX took part in a T-shirt painting competition, an inter-house Display board competition. They made beautiful designs with the Indian flag and other symbols. This encouraged students to combine their artistic skills with their love for the country. All four Houses displayed their ideas beautifully. The competition helped the students display their learning beyond the classroom and curriculum through the medium of art.

After these fun activities, a virtual tour of Red Fort was taken by all the classes. Everyone was amazed to see the beauty of the historic place. Then, a short clip from the movie 'Shershah' was shown to the children to appreciate the soldiers of our country. To enhance and test the speaking skills of students, a speaking activity was also conducted. They talked about Independence Day and what it means to them. It was great to hear their thoughts and feelings.

Overall, it was a fantastic celebration where students learned, had fun, and felt proud to be Indians. Jai Hind.

MMPians received Merit Certificates during the Prize Distribution Ceremony at Parliament Complex, New Delhi for the 55th Youth Parliament Competition 2022-23 organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi and NDMC. Around 39 schools from the National Capital Territory of Delhi participated in the event.

MMPS bagged 5th rank and prize in Mega Plastic Waste Collection Drive for collecting 135.0 kgs of plastic waste in association with Indian Centre for Plastic in the Environment.
