M.M. Public School takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievement of its young orators at the District English Extempore Competition, held on 25 August 2026 at KIIT World School, Pitampura.

With confidence, clarity, and impressive command over the language, Anshuman Neemwal of Class IX secured SECOND POSITION, while Rounak Kumar Thakur of Class VIII earned THIRD POSITION. Honourable Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Rooma Pathak, congratulated both the winners with immense pride and appreciation, commending their confidence and eloquence.

The spirit of love, affection and togetherness filled the school as the students of Balvatika I and II celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 27 August 2026.

The celebration began with an engaging PPT on the significance of Raksha Bandhan, through which the little ones learnt about the essence of the festival and the values it represents.

The students then enthusiastically created beautiful plantable Rakhis, blending creativity with an eco-friendly message. With great joy and excitement, they tied these special Rakhis on the wrist of the respected Director Sir, Shri Somesh Rishi Pathak, making the celebration a truly memorable one.

The activity helped the children understand and appreciate the values of love, care, protection and respect, while also encouraging them to celebrate festivals in an environmentally responsible manner.

A Rakhi Making Activity was conducted for Classes III to V on Thursday, 27 August 2026. Students enthusiastically created beautiful and colourful Rakhis using decorative materials. The activity encouraged creativity, artistic expression, and celebrated the beautiful bond of Raksha Bandhan.

M.M. Public School celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit. Observed annually on 29 August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player, the day highlights the importance of sports and physical fitness.

Students delivered inspiring speeches on the significance of sports and the remarkable life and achievements of Major Dhyan Chand. The celebration continued with energetic demonstrations of various sporting activities, including Rope Skipping, Tug of War,Yoga and Judo. Students participated with immense enthusiasm, showcasing their skills, coordination, and true sporting spirit.

The programme reinforced the message that a healthy body and a determined mind are essential for holistic development.

27 अगस्त 2026 को एम.एम. पब्लिक स्कूल, पीतमपुरा में राष्ट्रीय संस्कृत दिवस के अवसर पर विद्यालय की प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन संस्कृत भाषा में किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ नवमी 'अ' के छात्र अनंत द्वारा "महिषासुर मर्दिनी स्रोतम्" की प्रस्तुति से हुआ। इसके पश्चात् सातवीं 'ब' के सार्थक एवं आठवीं 'स' के मौलिक ने संस्कृत रैप तथा नवमी 'अ' के तनिष चोपड़ा व नवमी 'ब' के कुणाल अग्रवाल ने गीता ध्यान मंत्र का गायन प्रस्तुत किया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में संस्कृत सदन के सभी सदस्यों द्वारा सामूहिक संस्कृत गीत गाया गया। कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन नवमी कक्षा के आर्यन दुआ व कुणाल अग्रवाल ने किया। कार्यक्रम के समापन पर प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती रुमा पाठक जी ने छात्रों के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए संस्कृत भाषा के संरक्षण एवं प्रचार-प्रसार पर बल दिया।संस्कृत दिवस

With hearts filled with joy, devotion and excitement, the young learners of Balvatika 1 to Class II embarked on a memorable visit to ISKCON Temple on 24 August 2026.

The visit was organised in the spirit of the upcoming Janmashtami celebration and offered the children a beautiful glimpse into the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India. The students were delighted by the beautifully decorated temple and participated enthusiastically in seeking the blessings of Lord Krishna. They learnt about the significance of Janmashtami and were introduced to the inspiring life and teachings of Lord Krishna. The soulful bhajans and serene temple ambience filled the children with happiness, peace and devotion.

The visit was a meaningful and enriching experience that beautifully blended spirituality, culture and joyful learning.

Navya Baranwal of class VI won GOLD MEDAL in Taekwondo at the Delhi State School Games  2026–27 held at GSV, Sector- 6, Rohini on 19th August 2026.

She displayed exceptional skill, discipline, determination, and sporting spirit throughout the competition. Her outstanding performance at the state level has brought immense pride and honour to the school.
