Rally on “Say no to Plastic” by Eco Club

 

A Rally was carried out on 29th July 2019 by the students and teachers to spread awareness about harmful effects of plastic. Students made amazing posters and wrote their ideas on their posters  such as  Plastic is destroying our planet  and how we can save our planet by lessening the plastic in our daily life so that we can save our planet “EARTH” by reducing the use of plastic in our daily lives So students and teachers took the initiative to aware people and society.

Celebration of 20th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas

 

20th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated on 26th July 2019, students performed various activities to express their heartwarming feelings towards our Indian soldiers who are true symbol of sacrifice, integrity and unity. Students participated in Poster making, Debate competition. So, we as the citizen of India took this initiative to aware them and society.

My Performance – Fruits

 

My Performance (Show and tell) is a key part of our school and an important part of each child’s personality development, as it helps to oganise information and build each individuals.

The students of class L.K.G. had ‘Show and Tell’ activity on the Topic“Fruits” on  26th July 19’. It was sightful to see little tiny tots paricipating with full zeal and vigour. They were dressed up as fruits and were speaking about the importance  of fruits.

Kudos to all the L.K.G participants.

Mango Tango Day

Special Message Assembly was organised for Pre – Primay classes, i.e L.K.G to 1 on “Mango Day” to honor the king of fruits.

 

Special Assesmbly was conducted in the auditorium, where a sepcial power point presentation was shown to all the kids. Students were made aware of uses of mango. Teacher made the children aware about varities of mangoes. Children were exhilarated to  have tattoos dispalyed on their hand and face. A special activity of making Mango Kebabs on skewer sticks was a treat for the students. Children were thouroughly taught about the various uses of mangoes.

 

The celebration of Mango day impressed upon the students the goodness of the fruits.

 

Abhivayakti – On the spot colouring competition

Happiness comes from creative efforts. The joy of creating and expressing your thoughts by drawing and painting is unparalled. To explore the creative potential in the young minds of our children, Students of L.K.G Grade have shown their piece of work by participating in colouring competition. The budding artists  were busy colouring in fruits. It was indeed sightful to the achievers to see little pals engaged in creative work.

ATL Tinker Fest 2019

Festival of Creativity and Innovation, ATL Tinker Fest 2019 was celebrated at MMPS vivaciously on 29th July 2019.

In this one-day festival the creative, curious, and innovative spirit was seen in all. All attendees join in on the DIY fun! During the event the entire ATL lab was activated with activities that spark curiosity and ignite creativity.

Many schools participated in Robotics activities and Quiz competition with enthusiasm which was followed by felicitation ceremony, students were felicitated as follows :

  1. DPS Mathura Road won the Quiz with I position and were given title “Supreme Young Scientist”
  2. M.M. Public School won IInd position in Quiz and were titled as “Best Impeccability”
  3. SD Public School bagged IIIrd position in Quiz and won the title as “Unparalleled Ingenuity”
  4. Gyan Mandir School took the title as “Superb Inventiveness”
  5. VSPK International School were felicitated with title as “Optimum Intellectual”

On the whole the day was not only fun filled but also creative and innovative. Students learnt a lot and were motivated to do something useful to society, which is the real essence of ATL Lab.

Achievement in Atal Tinkering Fest

Keeping in mind the theme of Innovation, DPS Mathura Road organized an Inter-School ATAL Tinker Fest on 26th & 27th July, 2019. Bhuvnesh Wahi and Krishvardhan of class IX participated enthusiastically and utilize the platform for popularizing their amazing innovation and showcasing their technological skills and concern towards the society. It was a matter of proud that they were felicitated with the “Best Business Plan” title among various schools.

Achievement in Inter-School competition

“Technology has given way to an improved lifestyle and contributed towards the growth of economies”

It was well explained by Sarthak Kumar and Raja Ayush Kumar of class X in an Inter-School Video making competition held at Lovely Public School on 26th and 27th July 2019. Many schools participated and out of those their video was not only appreciated but also, they bagged I position and were felicitated with Trophy, Gift and a Merit Certificate.

Students not only learnt the art of video making but also learnt about use of Technology on Sustainable Development Goals and were motivated towards both.

Exhibition of Poster by Art & Craft Club

Art and Craft Club organized an exhibition of posters on the topic- Say no to Tobacco in the school premises on 27th July 2019. All the club students participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors. These Young Artists made posters with great enthusiasm. The exhibition was successfully organized by Art and Craft club and was motivated and appreciated by Principal Mam as well as parents.

English Poem Recitation Competition of Class II

Poetry is thoughts that breathe, and words that burn. - Thomas Gray

Inter-class poem recitation competition was conducted for class II on 26th July 2019. The children recited their poems in front of honourable principal ma’am, the head of the English department and other incharges. They recited poems on different themes which were Save Girl Child, Save Water, Nature, etc. The little kids had great learning experience and exposure. They used appropriate props and wear the dresses accordingly.
