Our students at computer club love to work on computer learn new thing on it and unleash their potential.
For a month senior students were made learn the Video-Editing and about Effects of Climate Changes. Student searched the information about effects of climate changes from Internet, downloaded many videos and then they made their own video explaining about effects of climate changes.
And also primary students worked on Powerpoint presentation on Healthy diet. Students presented a very good piece of work and gave the presentation very confidently.
On the day of competition i.e. on 1st September 2014 (Monday) students presented their videos and presentation alongwith the speech about climate changes and students work was well appreciated by Activity Incharge and Academic Incharge.
As a whole it was an opportunity for students to learn and implement their learning. Students were well appreciated and motivated by HOD (Comp. Sc.) Mrs. Tarvinder Kaur and efforts of computer club teacher Mrs. Simmi Sehgal was applauded.
On the occasion of Van Mahotsav , Tree Plantation Drive was organized on 28th august 2014. It was an initiative taken by Eco Club students to save our mother Earth. Various saplings of ornamental and shady trees were planted by Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak and the tiny tots of the school. A special programme was conducted in the morning assembly, Nikita of XA gave speech and highlighted the problems of Global Warming, Deforestation and Overpopulation also Jagriti of XA gave a motivating speech that encouraged the students to plant more and more trees in order to save planet Earth. Riya and Ritu of XB recited poems on vanishing trees and the need to conserve them. The programme proved to be a great success under the guidance of Eco Club Incharge, Ms. Suman Bala and thus was able to spread the message
"Plant More Trees to Save Planet Earth"
The heritage club of the school organized quiz competition "know your heritage" in the school premises on 25 August 2014. The students from classes IX-XI participated. There were 3 teams with two members each. It was a tough competition with variety of questions on :built heritage, natural heritage, arts and crafts and performing arts. There were three rounds namely written, visual and rapid fire. The rounds were enjoyed by the students .The quiz master Tanya Jini of XI-F made the rounds interactive with her presence of mind and knowledge. Nikita and Riya of class X-A were declared winners. The competition was a success as students got to know about India?s heritage more deeply.
Cricket competition was held on 22nd august between two teams GANGA and YAMUNA. The winner of this competition are the GANGA'S. The man of the match was TEJASUI.

To invoke the value of spirituality among the students Hawan was organized for class V on 22nd August 2014. Students participated with full enthusiasm under the guidance of their class teachers Ms. Shilpa and Ms Bhawna. Students touched the feet of priest after covering their heads with handkerchiefs to get his blessings .The students chanted Gayatri and Maha Mrityunjay mantra whose meaning was well explained by the priest.
Thus, it was all in all an enriching and motivating experience for them.
A man's mind stretched by a new idea can never go back to its original dimensions.
This is what we do at computer club; let students stretch their minds so that it expands with all new knowledge.

So with this activity students learned how to search information on net and get only the information required and not get distracted with wrong information as they were under continuous guidance.
Students were made learn different features of MS-WORD, and they were actually making beautiful document using MS-WORD. On the day of competition i.e. on 1st August 2014 (Friday) students presented their documents alongwith the speech about rivers of world very confidently.

Students of Art & Club organized poster making competition in which all the students of Art club participated and made poster on the topic- Save Rivers and DE-Addiction these posters will be sent to Anuvrat Bhawan for? 19th Anuvrat Painting Competition?. All the students of Art clubtook participated in it with great enthusiasm. The competition was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Priti Anand (H.O.D of Art & craft). Paintings will be judged by AKHIL BHARTIYA ANUVRAT NAYAS and the result will be declared by November 2014.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness, Keeping this in mind the Eco club & Heritage club of MMPS organized a Cleanliness Drive on 26th July 2014 on the bank of river Yamuna. Students of class VIII-XI participated in the awareness drive of Yamuna river pollution. The event began with the Cleanliness drive near Yamuna bank proceeded by a rally . Pamphlets were distributed by the students regarding do?s & dont?s against the river pollution. Students repeatedly gave message through slogans to keep Yamuna river clean. Some slogans were Polythene ko na karo Yamuna ko saaf karo, Stop polluting Yamuna, Yamuna is not a drain.
Students had an interaction with the people residing near Yamuna and made them aware of the consequences of polluted Yamuna river. They actively participated to clean some spots near Yamuna & they learned a lot of things about why and how we should save our Yamuna river from pollution.
The Readers club of the school organized quiz competition RIVERS OF THE WORLD in the school premises on 25th July, 2014. The students from classes VII participated.
There were 3 teams (NILE, GANGA AND AMAZONE) with two members each. It was a tough competition with variety of questions from Rivers and oceans. It was enjoyed by the students. The quiz master Ayjaz XI cherished the students mind with wonderful questions. Team Nile ( Khushi and Kirti) was the first runner up and the team Ganga (Shubham and Sanjana) was the second runner up . The event was graced with the presence of Academic Incharge and Activity incharge who endorsed the success of the event with her words of appreciation.
