Independence Movement by Art & Craft club

Art and Craft Club organized an activity on the topic- Independence Movement in the school premises on 25th August 2017. All the club students participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors. These Young Artists made poster on Independence movement with great enthusiasm. During this activity student has learnt a lot about the Independence movement and their understanding was clearly shown in the posters. The activity was successfully completed by students and well appreciated by principal madam.

Tree Plantation Activity by ECO Club

Tree Plantation was conducted by Eco Club with the help of voluntary organization NGO We PLANT on 24th August, 2017. Students of classes VII and VIII participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. A number of fruit tree saplings were planted in the school campus and the students were motivated by the resource person Mr. Jacob Messey who guided them how to save every fruit seed possible and to plant them not only in their school but at public places so that fruits are available to the poor who can't afford them. Students were also motivated to save any fruit seeds like mango, neem, jamun etc and deposit them in Seed Banks. All in all it was enriching activity.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration by Tiny Tots

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival celebrated by the Hindus on the birthday of Lord Ganesha. This festival is celebrated to mark the advent of the master of all knowledge, intelligence and wisdom, Lord Ganesha. Special food and Prasad is prepared to offer Lord Ganesha. The students of our pre-primary classes celebrated this festival on 24th August 17. In the morning, the students chant in chorus mantras and hymns and later devotional songs adoring Lord Ganesha. They prepared different kind of Modak and laddos to offer as Prasad to Lord Ganesha.

Cleanliness Drive at Sheesh Mahal by SAC Club

To inculcate the habit of cleanliness among the students of class-IX Cleanliness Drive was conducted on 22nd August 2017. The students visited Sheesh Mahal in Shalimar Bagh, which was built by Shahjahan in the year 1653. The students not only cleaned the Sheesh Mahal but also took the initiative of spreading the message of cleanliness to the nearby areas. Thus this activity proved to be enriching and fruitful for the students. 

VISIT TO DOMINOS BY MONT STUDENTS

MMPS organized a visit to DOMINOS for the students of classes LKG and UKG on 21 August 2017. The visit was very much enjoyed by the students as they tried their hands in preparing the pizza from making the dough till finishing it with toppings. But, the most interesting part was the baking. They were given certificates for the same and after so much of work all the students enjoyed pizza of their favorite toppings. The entire visit turned out not only fascinating and refreshing for the students but also they gained confidence and value of sharing.

Achievement in Skating Zonal Championship

Zonal Skating Championship was held from 2nd  to 4th August at D.L.DAV Model School Pitampura. Many schools participated and with stunning performance MMPians achieved top positions in different categories.

Rishi got 1st Position in Junior category, Bhavishay Sharma in Primary category and Aman Sharma in Senior category got 2nd Position.

Independence Day Celebration by Tiny Tots

Tiny tots celebrated 70th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and Patriotic spirit.

Various activities based on India?s freedom were performed by the Tiny Tots. They were beautifully dressed up in white kurta pyjama. Some of them performed dances and some recited poem. Students enjoyed the activities and the whole environment was filled with the feeling of Unity and Integrity.

At last whole school ground echoed with the sound of JAI HIND.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

To inculcate the values of leadership, sense of commitment and dedication investiture ceremony was held in M.M PUBLIC SCHOOL on 17th August 2017, amidst the presence of Honorable Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak. Head Boy Mayank Sahni and Head Girl Himanshi received badges along with the Assistant Head Girl, Assistant Head Boy, Sports Head Boy and Sports Head Girl, junior head Boy Lakshay Shukla and Junior Head Girl Nandini   along with the House Captains and Prefectorial Board Members.  All these students pledged to uphold the tradition and values of the institution and perform their duties with sincerity and dedication. Principal Madam congratulated the Students and expressed hope that hand in hand the newly elected Council and Prefectorial Board would help to maintain discipline and cleanliness in school and by their efforts to bring Honour and Glory to the school while taking the Oath. The new appointees expressed their gratitude towards the Principal Ma?am and the staff members who entrusted them with positions of such responsibility. 

Independence Day Celebration in Special Assembly

Faith in the words ?

Pride in our souls ?

To pay homage to the mother nation and to mark the patriotic spirit and fervor on the celebration of 70th Independence Day a Special Assembly was organized by the different houses on 11th August 2017 in the school premises with great enthusiasm. The program started with the song devoted to the mother land which was followed by the dramatization on the different social issues by the students of classes VI to VIII. Dev Agnani of class-IX gave an inspirational speech and enlightened the students about the 75th Quit India Movement. The Students of class-V recited a poem based on patriotism which created patriotic fervor among the students. The program ended with an inspirational speech given by our Honorable Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak who also motivated the students to take a pledge to give respect to the nation. Thus the celebration created the feeling among the students that our nation is an abode of peace and unity.

JANAMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami, is the birthday of lord Krishna which is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. It is believed that lord Vishnu reincarnated in the form of Lord Krishna on the auspicious day of Janmashtami. The historical background of the birth of Lord Krishna depicts the significance of this Hindu festival. Lord Krishna was born at midnight on the eighth day of Hindu lunar month, Shravana. So our tiny tots celebrated Janmashtami by doing role play stories of Lord Krishna, bhajan chanted by L.K.G students and dance performance by U.K.G class on 11th August 2017.
