Aliba and Priyanshi Shukla of Class XI brought pride to the school by securing the SECOND POSITION in the Under-17 Girls THROWBALL event, representing Zone 11, at the Delhi State School Games 2026 held from 27 January to 30 January 2026 at Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Badli, Delhi. The event was marked by high energy, discipline, and true sportsmanship and witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools across the state. MMPians outstanding performance, teamwork, and determination stood out throughout the tournament.

A colourful and inspiring session on Historical Characters of India was conducted for Class II on 3 February2026, where students brought history to life. They came dressed as notable personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Rani Laxmi Bai, and others. Each student confidently enacted and shared insights about the character they represented. The activity nurtured confidence, creativity, and effective self-expression. Overall, it was an interactive and joyful learning experience.

A thrilling and energetic Relay Race was organized for L.K.G. students on 3 February2026, filling the day with excitement and team spirit. The little ones enthusiastically took part and cheering for their friends. The activity helped develop their gross motor skills, coordination, and teamwork, while also fostering a sense of sportsmanship and enjoyment in physical activity. Every student actively participated and enjoyed the fun-filled challenge. Overall, the event was lively, motivating, and full of learning.

हिंदी भाषा के प्रति प्रेम एवं सुंदर लेखन की भावना जागृत करने हेतु कक्षा एल.के. जी., पहली एवं दूसरी  के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी सुलेख प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। 3 फ़रवरी 2026 को आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में बच्चों ने अत्यंत उत्साह से भाग लिया। नन्हे बच्चों की सुस्पष्ट, स्वच्छ एवं आकर्षक लिखावट ने सभी को प्रभावित किया। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों में सही अक्षर गठन, एकाग्रता एवं अनुशासित लेखन की आदत विकसित हुई। कार्यक्रम अत्यंत सफल, ज्ञानवर्धक एवं प्रेरणादायक रहा।

Proving their intellectual curiosity and thoughtfulness fostered the mutual understanding between India and Ukraine as well as the school commitment to academic excellence and global awareness.

Honourable Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak congratulated Dev Sagar of Class XI on his exceptional achievement of creating a World Record for producing the Biggest Charcoal Sketch of Lord Ganesha. The record was accomplished in a contest organised by the Influencer Book of World Records, Jaipur (Rajasthan), an organisation registered with the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and ISO Certified.

Mr. Jayesh Bhatt, the esteemed Chief Editor of the Influencer Book of World Records, applauded Dev Sagar for his gigantic 9 ft 5 inch × 5 ft 3 inch charcoal sketch of Lord Ganesha, which reflected outstanding precision, intricate detailing, refined shading skills, and artistic maturity far beyond his age. His ability to conceptualise and execute such a large-scale divine artwork at a young age truly establishes him as a rising art prodigy of India.

MMPS is delighted to announce that following students brought laurels to school in Vocal Music Group Competition organized by Vivaan Music School, an initiative of the Navjyoti India Foundation, NGO run by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.

Shraddha Shrivastava (VI), Sampada (VI), Deepika (VII), Yash Singh (VII), and Aarush Goel (VII) won Third Position.

Dressed in colourful and creative costumes, Grade LKG students enacted in a Role Play on Community Helpers on 29th January 2026, portraying various helpers and confidently articulating their roles as per the activity. The classroom was thoughtfully organised into work zones, making the experience engaging and realistic.

The activity enhanced students’ awareness of helping professions, improved speaking and listening skills, boosted self-confidence, and instilled respect for community services.

The school celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm on 23 January 2026.

Various activities were organised as part of the celebration. Students participated in a kite-making activity, prepared tricolour paper models with patriotic messages, and wrote the Preamble of the Constitution of India. All students also watched informative videos on Republic Day, followed by a quiz conducted to reinforce their learning.

The celebration was meaningful and helped develop a sense of national pride among the students.

With the objective of fostering patriotism and developing an understanding of national values among young learners, a Special Message Assembly was organised for Pre-Primary students on 23 January 2026 to commemorate 77th Republic Day of India.

L.K.G. students participated by dressing up as national symbols, thereby creating an atmosphere of pride and enthusiasm. U.K.G. students recited meaningful poems, while Grade I students presented a melodious rendition of Vande Mataram. Grade II students delivered short speeches highlighting the significance of Republic Day.

Students also engaged in creating patriotic crafts, and teachers reinforced key concepts through an informative PowerPoint presentation. The assembly effectively promoted patriotism, confidence, creativity, and age-appropriate civic awareness among the students.
