SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON VARIOUS HISTORICAL MONUMENTS BY SCIENCE CLUB

"Monuments take us to the path of knowing our past and connecting it with the future"

So not only to enhance their knowledge regarding the historical monuments of our country but also to enlighten them about it, the students of Science club under the guidance of Ms. Rashmi (Science Club Incharge) conducted a research on SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF HISTORICAL MONUMENTS on 23rd October, 2018. Students showed keen interest in activity and performed with full enthusiasm. They learnt various new things about the monuments. Thus the activity was quite informative and enriching.

Say No To Plastic Bags By SAC Club

To sensitize the students about the harmful effects of using plastic, the students of class IX went to different classes and presented a small but informative act on 12 Oct 2018. The students were not only made aware about the alternate use of plastic like paper bags, Steel lunch boxes, jute bags, cloth bags but also urged to spread this message to their neighborhood. They have also pledge not to use plastic and save environment. Thus, the activity turned out to be eye opening and useful for the students.

INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION

"Excellence is not being the best; it is doing your best"

Brimming with enthusiasm and confidence, the student of Pre-Primary wing demonstrated exceptional skill and talent in inter school competition "Show and tell" and earned appreciation. It was a matter of great pride that Pihoo Nagpal of U.K.G B was felicitated for bagging Second Position at Mother Divine School.

REPORT WRITING ACTIVITY

To enhance the concept of Report Writing Skills an activity to write a report on "Seven Wonders of the World" was conducted among the students of English Club on Tuesday i.e. 16 October 2018. The thoughts and expressions penned down by the students were noteworthy and appreciable.

CBSE CLUSTURE XX BASKET BALL TOURNAMENT

It was a moment of pleasure when MMPS Basket Ball team won Ist Position in Under 17 Boys in CBSE Clusture XX Basket Ball Tournament held from 03 October 2018 to 17 October 2018 at St. Giri Public School Set-3 Rohini.

Primary PTM

A Parent Teacher Meet was held on October 13, 2018 to discuss the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given feedback on their wards performances in Formative and Summative Assessments and during class. Various projects, models, and posters of English, Science and Social Science were displayed in the school to bring out the creative skills of little MMPians.

It was a great interaction between the teachers and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements. The progress report for the first term was shown to the parents and their suggestions were noted.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress of the students depends on the joint effort of parents and teachers. Overall, it was an interactive meet.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION BY PRE- PRIMARY WING

Keeping the festive spirit alive and to mark lord Rama's victory over Ravan and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, pre-primary wing of MMPS celebrated Dussehra on October,16,2018 with great enthusiasm and energy. A special assembly was conducted, in which students spoke on the significance of the festival through beautiful quotes on Dussehra. The highlights of the program were spellbound and won the heart of spectators. Colorful attire worn by the children was appreciated by all.

Prize in Poster making competition organized by AIIMS

It was a matter of immense pride and glory when Megha Mandal of class VII, P.Vijay and Himanshu Pandey of class VIII received consolation prize and gift hamper on 4th October 2018 in the poster making competition organized by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Science All India Institute of Medical Science on the occasion of celebration of 33rd  Eye Donation fortnight held on 4th September 2018. Students of various schools in and around Delhi participated in large numbers. Our students were motivated by the cause and brought with them not only the learning but also the never forgettable experiences.

Hawan of Class 6

To invoke the blessings of God for the growth and success of school and students, a Hawan Ceremony was conducted for Class VI on OCTOBER 10, 2018. All the rituals were performed by the priest. Students and Teachers participated with great zeal and exuberance. They chanted Gayatri Mantra. The ceremony was worthwhile in conveying religious beliefs to the pupils. Prasad was distributed to all. Blessings were given to all students.
