Cleanliness Campaign by SAC Club

A street play was organized by the students of Class V- XI of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Committee on 21 August 2018 with the aim to spread the message of cleanliness in the nearby areas of Rani Bagh Market and District Park, Pitampura. All students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students distributed pamphlets on How to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings and feedback of the people was taken in the form of questionnaire. All in all it was a fruitful campaign.

Rally To Save The Historical Monuments by Heritage Club

The historical monuments are a part of ancient  heritage of India which is closely associated with the identity of the nation.To create awareness to save the  historical monuments from destruction, a rally was organized on Tuesday, 21 August 2018  at the District Park by the students of Heritage Club. Students recited slogans and displayed posters related to the preservation of Historical Monuments. They interacted with the people and informed them about the reasons of the crumbling of monuments and the ways to preserve them. The rally was an attempt to preserve and protect India's rich and abundant architectural and cultural heritage for posterity.

Project Making Activity by Science Club

To sensitize and aware the students about the benefits of balanced diet, a Project Making Activity was conducted on 21st August 2018 on the topic BALANCED DIET by Science Club.

In the activity, students searched and found the right proportion of different nutrients in BALANCED DIET.

The students learnt about the balanced diet and its benefits for good health. The students prepared the projects beautifully and creatively.

Thus, the activity was quite informative and enriching for students.

Article Writing Activity by English Club

To enhance the writing skills of the students and to make them aware about the Importance of Historical Monument an Article Writing Activity was conducted by English Club on 20th August 2018.  The Students of the club participated whole heartedly and penned down their thoughts and expression about the historical facts of the monuments. They also sighted the example of Jantar Mantar and Humayun?s Tomb that they had visited recently. Thus the activity was useful in brightening the creativity of the students. 

Position in English Zonal

It was a matter of pride and glory, when Pranav Gupta of Class-XII D brought laurels to the school by securing first position in Senior Boys English Essay Writing Competition at Zonal level on the topic TERRORISM". The thoughts and expressions penned down by him were noteworthy and appreciable.

The school congratulates him on his achievement and wishes him good luck for the future venture.

Position in Zonal Folk Group Song Competition

It was an honour for the school when Students from classes VI to X got I Position in Folk Group Song Zonal Competition held at Maxfort public Maharaja Agrasen Public School, Ashok Vihar on 18th August 2018.

School wishes them good luck for next level.

Selection in National Children Congress at the Centre Level

It was a matter of immense pride and pleasure when Pratima Agnani (XII-A), Bhavik Valecha (XI-A), Jigyasa Sharma(XI-A) and Karan Vaswani (XI-B) participated in 26th National Children's Science Congress held at Zonal level on 21 August 2018 at GSV, C-Block, Saraswati Vihar and were selected for the Centre level. Their presentation on Phenol: A Serious Environmental Threat won appreciation of the judges.

The school congratulates them and wishes them success in their next endeavor.

Mont Students Enjoying Swings

Swing high, swing low, away we go

Up to the trees where the breeze blow..

How do you like to go up on the swings,

Up in the air with lots of fun and glee.

Oh, we do think it's the pleasant thing..

Ever a child can do!

Up in the air I go flying again,

L.K.G kids were delighted to be on swings on August  21, 2018.

Number 5 Activity by LKG students

Number 5 was introduced to L.K.G students through a story. Students were motivated to count 5 objects using different real life objects and various flash cards. They tapped and jumped on the count of number 5. Little hand also did an associated activity related to number 5 to enhance their fine motor skills. 

Visit to Iskcon Temple by Mont Students

In order to inculcate spiritual values in this world of materialism, a short trip to ISKCON TEMPLE was organized for the tiny L.K.G and U.K.G on August 20, 2018 on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The students were accompanied by their teachers and the support staff. They reached the temple by school buses and spent their entire day in the calm and serene environment of the temple. Delicious Prasad was also served which was relished by the young devotees. Thereafter, the students were taken into the area where idols are worshipped. They were encouraged to sing and dance on the chants of Hare Rama, Hare Krishna followed by the Gallery walk. The visit was an apt example of learning beyond the classrooms.
