Matra Bhasha Diwas by Art & Craft

Art and Craft Club organized a Painting activity on the topic- Diversity of cultures, in India and the consequent forums of literature, craft, performing arts, scripts and other forms of creative expression in the school premises on 21st February 2019. All the club students participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors. These Young Artists made painting with great enthusiasm. During this activity student has learnt a lot about the Indian culture and their understanding was clearly shown in the posters. The activity was successfully organized by Art and Craft club and was motivated and appreciated by Principal Mam.

Golden Achievement in English Essay Writing Competition at State Level

“Every achievement is a servitude which compels for a higher education”

Pranav Gupta of class-XII brought laurels to the school by securing first position in ENGLISH ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION AT STATE LEVEL thus being a shining star in penning down his creativity and expression on the topic ‘Stress among Adolescents’. He was felicitated and applauded with a certificate of Merit and cash prize of rupees One Thousand on Tuesday 19th February 2019 at Chhatrasal Stadium by Directorate of Education ADE Physical Education Mrs.Romi Johari.

            To mark a new beginning in the life of the students, hawan was organized for Class XII on Saturday i.e. 16 February 2019 in the school premises. The sacred words delivered in the form of prayer by Acharya ji created an atmosphere of spiritual fervor. The Principal Ma’am and the Director Sir were given a floral welcome by the students of Class XII which was followed by a Cake Cutting Ceremony. The words of wisdom spoken by Ma’am and Sir were highly motivational and full of encouragement. Students also performed group dance in the presence of Sir which mesmerized everyone.

 The school coveys Best Wishes to all the students for their successful future.

ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION

“Poetry is the core of Literature”

To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students a recitation competition was held on 14th Feb, 2019 for the students of L.K.G & U.K.G in our school. Keeping the various aspects of poetry, the participants came with different poems. The recital excelled in rhythm, mood, diction and expressions. It was indeed a splendid event which was applauded and praised by the judges.

ROCKSPORT ADVENTURE CAMP FOR PRIMARY

To give the students an opportunity to use their Bodily Intelligence and enjoy their Adventurous Nature, Rocksports Camp was organized in the school for class II to V on February 9, 2019 .i.e. Saturday. Students participated enthusiastically in various fun filled activities held during the camp such as Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Wall Climbing, Zorbing, Commando Crawl, Hop Scotch, Tug of War, Body Zorb, Dragon Move, Tyre Mess, Shalimar Hop, Zip Line. These activities aimed at maintaining fitness level and the physical mental balance of a student. The camp was duly supervised by the school teachers and professional instructors. Breakfast, lunch and evening snacks were provided to all. Students danced on DJ with full vigour. Everyone had a joyful and enriching experience.

Winners in Road Safety Quiz Competition at Range- Level

It was a matter of immense pride and glory when Ankush Dua and Nishant Paliwal of class IX secured II Position in Range level Quiz Competition about Road Safety held by Delhi Police, Road Safety Cell at Traffic Training Park, Roshanara Bagh on 16 January 2019. This victory turned out to be more special when both the champions were awarded with the gift voucher of Rs. 4000 and a certificate on 6th February, 2019 at Traffic Training Park, Punjabi Bagh.

 

Inauguration of ATL Lab & Health Mela

To spur the creativity and innovation of Robotic techniques among the students of Class VI to XII, ATAL TINKERING LAB was inaugurated on Saturday 2 February 2019 at 10:30 am by Dr. N.K. Bhatia (Medical Director, Mission Jan Jagriti), Dr. Yogesh Pant from (Heart Care Foundation) along with the Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and the Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak. On the same day, Health Mela along with Blood Donation Camp and Workshops, in association with Max Health Care, Bhasin Dental Clinic, Mission Jan Jagriti and Heart Care Foundation of India was organized and free health checkup (Blood Pressure, Bone Density, Sugar, Dental and Eye Check Up, E.C.G.) was conducted by renowned doctors and consultants. Many parents and teachers wholeheartedly participated in health checkups and donated their blood for the noble cause.

Thus the initiative taken by the Director Sir and Principal Madam to create the awareness about the importance of health was fruitful and enriching.

Excursion to the Park

The most awaited day of the year, yes the class picnic…

Students of classes LKG to 1 were taken to the park for NATURE WALK and rides on 29th Jan, 19’.

With their bags packed with games, food and a lot more, the children were very happy and excited to go for the picnic.

On reaching the park, the children enthusiastically explored the alluring beauty and bounties of nature. The nature walk helped them to observe different types of plants all around them. They day was well spent enjoying, singing and playing lot of games like pass the ball, fire in the mountain, jump over the partner and tunnel ball.

The visit to the park was a memorable one and it motivated the students to take care of their environment and to maintain cleanliness around them. It was a wonderful opportunity for all the children to strengthen their bonds and everyone came back to school rejuvenated.

English Calligraphy Activity by Mont Students

To improvise presentation skills and to inculcate habit of good handwriting amongst students, Junior wing of M.M. Public School organized ENGLISH CALLIGRAPHY competition on 28th Jan, 19’. All the students from classes LKG to 1 participated with full enthusiasm and showed excellent creativity through their writing skills.

A meaningful message was given and taught by the Incharge to the students saying that ‘our handwriting style depicts our personality traits.’

Painting & Slogan Competition On “No Voter To Be Left Behind”

To create awareness regarding the participation of voters during the elections, Painting Competition and Slogan Writing Competition on the topic “NO VOTER TO BE LEFT BEHIND” was organized by M. M. Public School, Pitampura on Monday January 28, 2019 in Art & Craft room with great fervor and enthusiasm. Around 50 Students of Class VIII, IX and XI participated whole heartedly and created their own creations depicting the message that Voters are an integral part of a democratic nation. Though everyone was able to make a mark but some of the excellent performers in Painting Competition and Slogan Writing Competition are:
