‘World Peace begins with inner peace’.
MMPS constantly strives to seek new and innovative approaches to promote student engagement in a way to bring about positive change. In order to create and maintain peace amongst the students, families and their surroundings, a pledge was conducted by students on 21 September commemorating International Peace Day.
Fulfilling this year's theme i.e., “End racism. Build peace” as declared by UNO, students earnestly promised to respect every person irrespective of case, race or position. They were also informed that true peace means building societies where all people flourish and are treated equally, regardless of their race. A world where compassion and empathy overcome suspicion and hatred. A world that one can truly be proud of.
Thus, students realized the importance of unity and peace to promote peace in all walks of their life.

“The Right use of Food can end hunger.”
Under the project ZERO HUNGER of SDG-2, MMPS observes zero hunger for the community every second Friday of the month by contributing freshly made ‘Rotis’ to Roti Bank.
To create awareness among all the students of class II -VIII about the importance of food as a basic need in life and to make them realise how important even a one-time meal is, all the students and teachers brought two freshly made chapatis for the ‘ROTI BANK’ from their home for needy and underprivileged in August 2022.
Students keenly participated in this concern and were deeply connected with the hunger-affected people. They actively participated and raised their hands in unity to help the deprived ones by providing them fresh food with their own helping hands. People were overwhelmed and felt delighted with the great step taken by the students. Thus, this noble and generous act generated empathy among the students for the hunger-stricken, poor and homeless people.
