Krishna Janmashtami, the festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu was celebrated with great fervour by the Pre-Primary Wing on August 18, 2022.
The Little kids came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna. The presentation depicted the varied roles from the life of Krishna.
The splendidly beautiful presentation like twirling dances, Joyous melodies and role plays were appreciable.
The sparkling festival was commemorated in a beautiful manner leaving Lord Krishna’s teachings as a guiding light for all of us to follow.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated on Thursday, 18th August 2022 among the students of classes II-VIII in the school premises with mirth and joy. The fragrance of flowers, the soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the surrounding with positivity. While this religious importance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India, it signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, the students dressed up as lord Krishna poised with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas marked divine arrival. The premises was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with Krishna Leela depicting the birth and life history of Lord Krishna. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating. A lot of fun-filled activities were conducted such as making of matki, flute, swing, beautiful crown of Lord Krishna. The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to inculcate the value of spiritual fervor among the students. Thus, the students had a great time participating in the celebration ardently.

Every festival, occasion or milestone in life is celebrated by visiting the Temple first.
In order to seek the blessings of the Almighty students of the pre-primary section were taken to ISKCON Temple on August 8th, 2022. The educational excursion was a great learning experience for little children. Children chanted the mantra “Hare Rama, Hare Krishna” and Danced on their beats too. Delicious Prasad was served by the Priest of Temple (Khichdi and Bananas). Prasad was relished by the young devotees.
The visit was an apt example of learning beyond the classroom.

As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Quit India Movement, on 9 August 2022 a Pad Yatra was organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti. The Padyatra started from historic Redfort towards the Town Hall in the walled city of Chandni Chowk. The students actively participated in the yatra; slogans of the Quit India Movement filled the ambiance with patriotism. Students also presented a patriotic. Dr. Vijay Goel (Member of Parliament) and Prakash Javadaker (Member of Parliament) graced the occasion by encouraging students to follow the path of Nonviolence.

On August 12,2022 students of the Pre-Primary wing enthusiastically participated in the 75th INDEPENDENCE DAY Occasion. The celebration brought forth the unique features of India and its National symbols. Captivating Quotes, foot-tapping dances on Patriotic Numbers and a special play of Freedom, i.e. The struggles of Bhagat Singh were the Highlights of the Special Day.
Children did special Art and Crafts activities under the Campaign HAR GHAR TIRANGA. These activities infused a sense of pride and patriotism in every little heart of each MMPian. Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Madam Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak addressed the occasion and shared details about India’s struggle for Independence and freedom with the students and urged them to keep the flag of the Nation flying high as the citizen of the future.
Indeed, it was a day of elation, a day of love and respect for the country.

The Fragrance of HAVAN SAMAGIRI wafted through the entire campus to make one and all feel connected with God and to purify the polluted environment.

On August 8, 2022, MMPS hosted a Lawn Tennis Zonal Tournament (Boys). The school playground was buzzing with energy, excitement, and a frolicsome atmosphere. It was a wonderful honor and delight for the kids of MMPS to engage with such zeal in all of the games and to demonstrate their commendable efforts and team spirit.
Almost 16 schools from Zone XI took part in the competition. The chief guest Dr. Rakesh Rahi (DDE Zone- XI), Ms. Kamini Rawat (S.P.E.), Mr. Parveen Yadav (Sports Secretary Boys), Ms. Krishna Meena (Sports Secretary Girls) along with Ms. Rooma Pathak, the Principal of M.M. Public School inaugurated the tournament. Our revered Principal Madam greeted the distinguished guests and underlined the value of sports. Mr. V.S. Rana was in charge of the entire event. The school and all participants were overjoyed by the event. MMPians proved its mettle by achieving the following positions in various categories mentioned below:
