Show And Tell Hindi Recitation by pre-primary

To make Students articulate, Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was held on ‘October12, 2022’.  Pals of Grade Pre School were given a chance to recite poem of their choice using their National Language. Little children participated with lot of excitement and fervor. It helped them to develop confidence and also improvised their vocabulary and dictation in Hindi. Children touched different areas with their impressive poems.

INSTRUMENTAL SWAR AND PERCUSSION COMPETITION

“Music gives a soul to the Universe, wings to the mind, flight to the Imagination and life to everything”

To maintain peace in our minds, music is one of the most important elements. Imagination and creative is poured out of hearts when music is brought to our ears. The competition of Instrumental Swar and Percussion conducted on Monday, 7 November, 2022 in the school premises.

In order to commence with the competition, Ms. Kamini Rawat, The District Co-ordinator , inaugurated the event from zone 11, 12 and 13. The competition was held for the level of Junior Boys, Junior girls, Senior boys and Senior Girls. The students learned and performed the forms of the swars. The atmosphere was showered with ragas and notes. The teachers and students derived much pleasure and learning in organizing the event.

Thus, the students enthusiastically participated and overjoyed the event and also learned musical notes with a great fun.

Gurupurab Celebration

“Let no man in the world live in delusion, Without a Guru none can cross over to the other shore.”

To commemorate the 553rd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, the first Sikh guru and the founder of Sikhism, students and teachers of MMPS celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti in School on Monday, November 7, 2022.

The celebration started with Prabhat Pheri where principal ma’am alongwith teachers chant the soothing holy ‘Shabads’. To memorialize the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji prayer was performed in the school by the students making the whole ambience serene and pious. Following the teaching of Guru Nanak Ji for ‘Vand Chakho’ the ‘LANGAR PRASHAD’ was organized for general public incorporating the Sustainability Development Goal 2 : Zero Hunger, where volunteer students as well as staff members served to the needy.  Students also learnt about the importance of Gurupurabs and painted the posters of Guru Nanak Ji and wrote slogans on sikhism.

Principal Ma’am, Ms. Rooma Pathak apprised the students about the principles and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji which reiterated the message of ‘One god’ and ‘Eternal Truth’. It proclaimed that the essence of religion is engaging man to constantly remember the divine always and everywhere.

Guru NANAK Jayanti Celebration by Pre-primary kids

Little MMPians from Grade-L.K.G to Grade -1visited Gurudwara on Nov 2, 2022.

Keeping in mind the protocol of the Gurudwara, the young children covered their heads with a headscarf. All the kids washed their hands and feet before climbing the stairs.

Students bowed in front of the Granth Sahib- the holy book of the Sikhs. Information on the Sikh religion was given to them by the Head priest. Kadha Prasad- a sweet prasad made of wheat flour, ghee and sugar the customary offering to Sikh gods was given to the little ones. They relished the unique taste of the prasad.

Also Special Message Assembly was conducted to make kids aware about the importance of Guru Nanak Jayanti followed by colouring in the worksheet where little pals coloured in the picture of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

This made the young children understand that they should respect all religions of our country.

Activity on Healthy Lifestyle by pre-primary kids

According to WHO, Healthy living is a way of living that helps you enjoy more aspects of your life. As such Healthy life Activities were celebrated by the littolians of Grade U.K.G from 10.10.22 till 14.10.22 (Weekly celebration of Healthy life Style)

Children enjoyed health beneficial activities on weekly basis like Jumping jack day, Visit to Gym, Aerobics on the way etc. Children also enjoyed eating healthy food in their lunch time and learnt the significance of opting Healthy eating lifestyle.

National Unity Day Celebration

To commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is also known as the Iron Man of India and to affirm the inherent strength and resilience to withstand threats to the security, unity and integrity, the students of MMPS celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October 2022.

A plethora of activities were undertaken by the students with great enthusiasm and national spirit. The day commenced with a special assembly that included speeches by the students followed by a Fancy Dress Show to demonstrate the unity in diversity in India. The Poster Making, Essay Writing also gave an opportunity to students to pen down their vision for India in 2047.  A nation without corruption, prejudice towards any caste, or racism. The day concluded with the Unity Run outside the school premises by the senior students.

All of the activities were carried out under the skillful supervision of the educators, who daily instill in the kids a sense of duty to the country. A special message from respected principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak pointed students about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's contributions to strengthening India, made the day memorable and encouraged them to love their nation.

Sale Event by School Entrepreneur Club

To teach students the entrepreneur skills to become self-dependent and confident, a Sale Event was organized by students of Class XI and XII in the school premises during PTM on 29 October 2022.

Students made decorative items using waste plastic and set up a stall and convinced parents to buy those items. Parents were glad to see the creativity of the students and motivated them by buying the items made by the students. They were also praised by the staff members and had interaction telling the details of their products.

Thus, this event boosted the confidence of students to earn money and learn real life skills.

National Level Achievement in Lawn Tennis

School feels proud of Divya Ungrish, student of class IX, who was the Runner up in under-16 Doubles event during 27 Fenesta National Sub-Junior Tennis Championship under the Agies of All India Tennis Association held at the DLTA Complex, R. K. Khanna Stadium, Delhi from 17 October 2022 to 22 October 2022.

Principal Ma’am congratulated her and wished her best wishes for bright future.

Achievement in Lawn Tennis

It was a matter of proud moment when Aadhya Jain won FIRST POSITION in under-10 and under-12 singles in DDA Lawn Tennis Tournament held at Paschim Vihar sports complex from 29-30 October 2022.
