Hawan with the grace of GOD for Class Xth students

A Homa or Havan is a sacred fire ceremony in which various forms of the Divine gods and Demi-gods are invoked. As per the ancient Hindu texts, any offering to the fire is actually an offering the Sun. Offerings such as ghee, rice dry fruits, honey, wood etc. are offered to the sacred fire while reciting the mantras by a priest. The education is now a value based system and thus to inculcate the value of praying and the holy Sanskrit Mantras, a Hawan was organized on 29th January, Thursday for class Xth.

The event bring them closer to the greatest soul "God".

MAKING CARDS AND CRAFT GIFTS FOR INMATES OF OLD AGE HOME

"Bless us always with your precious blessings."

To inculcate the feelings of respect towards elder people Art and Craft club of M.M.P.S. made beautiful cards and artifacts for inmates of old age people to express their feelings for old people and tell them that, they are not alone in this world. Students are there for them. Then all students visited the old age home on 22nd and 23rd January 2015 and gave all these artifacts and greeting cards to the old people. It was a wonderful practical learning experience for the children.

Artifacts Depicting Various Cultures

Students of art and craft club of M. M. Public School made several cultural artifacts depicting various culture of the nation. They expressed their feelings entirely with their heart out in the craft world. Their creativity was thoroughly appreciated by everyone. They made several artifacts using paper mashie depicting the art of Kashmir. They also made jharokhas which is a very famous artwork of Rajasthan and many more such artifacts. Then, they exhibited these artifacts in an exhibition in the month of October which was a vast diversity of our culture.

INTERNATIONAL TENNIS FEDERATION ASIA 14 & UNDER DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015 DIVISION - 1

It was a moment of pride when Sachitt Sharma got selected for ITF ASIA 14 & UNDER DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015 ? Division 1 (Bangkok, Thailand).

ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championships - Division 1 will be held at the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand, Thailand on 14 - 27 March 2015 organized by International Tennis Federation (ITF) in conjunction with the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF).

The ITF Division 1 is the equivalent of an Asian 14 & under Category 2 event for which points for a category 2 ATF 14 & under circuit event will be awarded to players for their wins at the championships.

We wish all the best to Sacchitt for not only winning the tournament but also learn sportsmanship and grow as a champion from this golden opportunity.

MMPians Triumph in National School Games Tennis Championship on 11th January 2015

"You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time." 

This is true for our champions at MMPS. It was a moment of pride when Yugal Bansal of class X won the boys? under-17 title in the National School Games Tennis Championship that concluded in Gulbarga, Karnataka on 11th January 2015.

School applauds for his laurels and wishes him success for life.

Hello Day Celebration on 23-01-2015

"A simple Hello could lead to million things."

Students of classes LKG and UKG celebrated Hello day on 23-01-2015. Students understood the importance of greeting and how it makes your and other person's day just by Smiling and saying Hello. Students learned different ways to say Hello. Students were enthusiastic about the new learning and were excited to say Hello to everyone they come across. They promised to greet everyone from now onwards.

Glorious Win at CBSE Regional Science Exhibition

"Necessity is the mother of Invention,

Exhibition is the best way of idea representation."

To boost the scientific approach among students CBSE organized a Regional level Science Exhibition at G.D. GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL, Karkardooma from 22nd January to 24th January 2015. With the same objective Nakul Goel and Raj Kamal of class XI Bparticipated under Sub theme 'Landmarks in Mathematics and Science'. They exhibited their model on 'Symmetry and Music- A Healing therapy' under the guidance of Ms. Rinku Gupta (PGT, Mathematics). The model focuses on the wide application of mathematics in the present world. It was a matter of great pride and glory that they were appreciated by all the judges and were selected for the CBSE National Exhibition.

Expression by Mr. Manoj Kumar (Arjun Awardee)

"Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential."

This were the words of Mr. Manoj Kumar who is an Indian boxer who won Gold Medal in the light walter weight division at the 2010 Common Wealth Games when he interact with MMPians on 27th December 2014.

He was warm welcomed by Director Sir, Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal mam, Mrs. Rooma Pathak.

He told about  himself that he hails from the village of Rajound in Kaithal district of Haryana and how he started his career from a small school in village and then to Olympics. Mr. Manoj Kumar is currently supported by Olympic Gold Quest.

Students get lot of motivation and learned the spirit of always trying from him. Students and teachers too enjoy clicking with him and taking his autographs

Observing Road Safety Week from 11th January 2015 to 17th January 2015

A road safety week was celebrated by the school students, teachers and other staff members from 11th January 2015 to 17thJanuary 2015.

On Day - 1 i.e. 12th January 2015 POSTERS were put in the school premises and on the gate too with messages for Road Safety. And various banners were put outside gate for observing Road Safety week.

On Day - 2 i.e. 13th January 2015 a rally was conducted where students told people about safety measures that general public can take for their and others safety. PAMPHELTS on road safety rules were distributed to the entire school and outside people. The motive to create awareness among the students and general public regarding road safety was achieved upto great extent.

On Day - 3 i.e. 15th January 2015 in morning assembly was conducted where SPEECH on the topic ?Safety Is Not Just a Slogan, Its Way of Life? was delivered by Ms Suman & Ms Jyoti

On Day - 4 i.e. 16th January 2015 special assembly was conducted where a SKIT was performed by the students of class IX A. After conveying the message of ROAD SAFETY through the skit, the information regarding "Do's and Donts" was also conveyed by Sunny Sharma of class IX.

On Day - 5 i.e. 17th January 2015 a painting competition was organized to strengthen the effect of road safety message. The overall aim of safety concern message was imparted to every student with the concluded message.

Achievement in National Series Tennis Tournament

"There is no relief at it being over. There is the joy of winning it."

It was a moment of pride when our top seed Sachitt Sharma of class VIII was a winner in Under-14 category in National Series (NS) tournament held at R.K. Khanna Tennis Stadium, Delhi from 5th January 2015 to 10th January 2015.

We applaud for Sachitt and wish him all the best for his bright future.
