Dressed in charming purple outfits, the L.K.G. students celebrated Purple Colour Day on 21 January 2026. All the students confidently described the purple objects they had brought from home, promoting observation skills and self-expression.

Hands-on activities added to the excitement as students painted cheerful smilies in purple, making the celebration lively and engaging. The event strengthened colour recognition while nurturing creativity, confidence, and active participation.

Ms. Aakanksha Talwar, the mentor, was honoured with the Teacher of Innovation – Silver Award for her exemplary guidance and dedicated efforts in nurturing innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity among students.

The awards were presented at the Youth Ideathon Awards Ceremony held on 18 January 2026 at IIT Delhi, marking a moment of immense pride and motivation for the entire school community.

The vibrant festival of Lohri was celebrated on 13 January 2026 with great enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of harvest, prosperity, and new beginnings while reinforcing respect for India’s rich cultural heritage.

The celebration highlighted Lohri’s significance as a festival of thanksgiving to nature and farmers, along with the rich folklore of Punjab. Teachers, dressed in colourful traditional attire, gathered around the symbolic bonfire and offered traditional items such as peanuts, popcorn, sesame seeds, and rewari, seeking blessings for happiness and prosperity. Special prayers were offered for the well-being, success, and holistic growth of the students.

Adding rhythmic energy and cultural vibrancy to the occasion, teachers enthusiastically performed traditional Bhangra and Gidda, filling the atmosphere with joy, liveliness, and festive spirit. The lively beats and graceful movements beautifully showcased Punjab’s rich cultural legacy and strengthened the spirit of togetherness among all present.

The celebration concluded on an uplifting note, inspiring a deeper sense of cultural awareness, unity, and cherished memories.

To bid adieu to the outgoing Class XII students, a vibrant Farewell Party was organised on Saturday, 10 January 2026. The celebration resonated with laughter, music, and warm interactions, evoking a touching sense of déjà vu and rekindling cherished memories of school life. Honoured Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and revered Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak, extended her heartfelt blessings and encouraged students to excel in their forthcoming Board Examinations and future pursuits

Adding a special touch of warmth and celebration, a joyous cake-cutting ceremony marked the spirit of togetherness and accomplishment. One of the most anticipated moments of the event was the conferring of special titles upon the students, recognizing their unique talents, leadership qualities, confidence, creativity, and admirable personalities. The students then added life and energy to the occasion through heartfelt speeches, cheerful dances, joyful photographs, warm hugs and radiant smiles, making the event truly unforgettable. 

As the moment arrived to lovingly say “au revoir” and bid adieu, emotions overflowed with gratitude and nostalgia. Group photographs captured memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Though paths may now diverge, the bond with their alma mater and the values imbibed within its corridors of the school will forever continue to guide and unite their hearts.

With the CBSE Board Examinations approaching, a solemn Hawan Ceremony was organised on Friday, 9 January 2026, to invoke divine blessings for the outgoing batch of Class XII as they prepare to embark upon this significant milestone in their academic journey.

Honourable Principal Ma’am, Ms. Rooma Pathak, along with the teachers and students, participated in the sacred ritual by offering collective prayers and ahutis (oblations) into the holy fire. The rhythmic chanting of Vedic mantras by the Pandit Ji created an atmosphere imbued with serenity, positivity, and spiritual harmony.

The ceremony transcended ritualistic practice, serving as a meaningful opportunity to instil inner strength, confidence, and mental resilience among the students. It reinforced the values of faith, discipline, and perseverance, inspiring learners to approach their forthcoming examinations with clarity, optimism, and unwavering determination.

Dr. Priyaranjan Trivedi, President, Confederation of Indian Universities (CIU) and President, 46th World Management Congress awarded M.M. Public School, the prestigious “Best School for Holistic Student Development Award” for academic innovation, research-based learning, and creating responsible global citizenship.

The award was presented by the International Association of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP), affiliated with ECOSOC – United Nations, in collaboration with leading national and international academic and research institutions at the 46th World Management Congress, held on 31 December 2025 at the India International Centre, New Delhi.

The entire school community congratulated Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak for her visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and relentless efforts in fostering a progressive learning environment that nurtures students’ intellectual, emotional, physical, and ethical growth.

The New Year 2026 celebration began on a vibrant and joyful note at our school with a lively and engaging activity organised for Classes III to VII on 31 December 2025.

Class III to V students designed bright, colourful frames and proudly wrote their New Year resolutions inside them, decorating them with enthusiasm and creativity, while students of Classes VI and VII created attractive and thoughtfully designed New Year cards and displayed their resolutions beautifully on the boards.

The activity filled the campus with positivity, excitement, and creative energy, inspiring students to welcome the New Year with fresh goals and hopeful thoughts.

A Show and Tell Competition on the theme “My Favourite Book” was organized for Grade I students on 31st December 2025. The young learners confidently expressed their thoughts using appropriate voice modulation and expressions. They also carried colourful and appealing props related to their chosen books, which made the presentations engaging and lively.

My Performance Competition for L.K.G. students was held on 31st December 2025 in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.

Children confidently presented a few simple lines on the given insect with great enthusiasm. They wore beautiful costumes and used colorful cutouts, which made the presentations engaging and memorable. The event encouraged active participation and brought out the creativity of the little learners. Students improved confidence, language skills, creativity, memory, and learned basic concepts about insects through experiential learning.

“Cleanliness is Next to Godliness”

A Sports Activity titled “Clean Your Surroundings” was organized on 31st December for the students of Grade U.K.G. The young learners eagerly participated as they ran along the tracks, collecting waste and helping to clean the area. Their enthusiastic involvement highlighted their growing sense of responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness.

The activity played an important role in instilling healthy habits, environmental awareness, and respect for their surroundings. It also strengthened their physical coordination, listening skills, teamwork, and discipline while following instructions.
