Basant Panchami Celebration in School

Basant panchami marks the beginning of spring season. This festival of spring, was celebrated by the tiny tots of M.M.P.S. on 1st feb 2017 (Wednesday). Kids worshipped goddess Saraswati with full dedication. They wore yellow clothes and ate yellow sweets. They danced and prepared beautiful cards to show their love and dedication towards the Goddess of art, education, learning and wisdom. All an all it was joyful experience for kids.

Felicitation of the School

It was a proud moment when the school received an appreciation certificate by Shashi Bala Saini (Deputy Director of Education) and Mr. Vinay Verma (Director of Education) at Zonal Level (in Zone  XI District) for its outstanding results in different  fields like Sports, Art & Craft and at the linguistic level in English, Hindi and Sanskrit on 1st February 2017. Not only students but our Sports incharge Mr. V.S. Rana also received appreciation certificate by Shashi Bala Saini (Deputy Director of Education) and Mr. Vinay Verma (Director of Education for his commendable work in the field of Sports and shaping the future of the students.

PTM for primary classes

As the session is about to end and students are parents are looking forward to final exams and then the new session. So the P.T.M for classes I to V was organized on Saturday, 28th January 2017 to counsel students and parents for the final exams and to prepare for new session. Most of the parents attended the meeting and were satisfied after meeting the teachers, as they were keen to know the performance of their ward. All together the P.T.M was worthy and turned out to be fruitful.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

To create the feeling of patriotism among the students 68th Republic Day was celebrated on January 25, 2017 in a Special assembly. The students of L.K.G. and U.K.G. showcased different costumes of different states. A group of students sang a patriotic song which echoed in the atmosphere of the school and created the feeling of love for their nation. Not only the students but the teachers also participated in the Republic day Celebration by singing a patriotic song which reminded all present there the sacrifice of freedom fighters.Students of senior classes also participated by taking a pledge for the country.

All in all the day was motivational, full of patriotism and memorable.

PAINTING COMPETITION

Art and Craft Club celebrated Republic Day by organizing a Painting Competition on the topic Swachh Bharat and Digital India in the school premises. All the students of Art and craft Club participated and painted their imaginations with the vibrant colors. These Young artists made painting with great enthusiasm and the whole environment was filled with colors of patriotism.

This activity was organized under the guidance of Mrs Priti Anand (HOD of Art and Craft) and was well appreciated by principal mam Mrs. Rooma Pathak.

EVERY VOTE COUNT'S

Art & Craft Club organized a Poster Making Competition. In which all the students of School made posters on the topic-every vote count?s for the celebration of National voters? DayAll the students of Art &Craft Club participated in it with great enthusiasm.. The competition was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Priti Anand (H.O.D of Art & Craft)

BASKET BALL NATIONAL COMPETITION

It was a moment of immense pleasure when our Basket Ball Senior Boys team achieved 2nd position in Basket Ball National Tournament in under-19 Senior Boys category held from 4th January to 11th January 2017 at Yugantar Public School, Raipur (Chhattisgarh).

62nd NATIONAL SCHOOL GAMES FLOORBALL Championship

It was a moment of immense pleasure when Deepika Yadav of class XII achieved 1st position in 62nd National School Games Floor Ball Championship in under-19 Senior Girls category held from 2nd - 9th January 2017 at Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini, Delhi.

CELEBRATION OF GANIT SAPTAH

To celebrate the birth anniversary of renowned mathematician Srinvas Ramanujan and to improve the mathematical skills of the students of class I to IX. National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22nd Dec 16. The whole week from 22nd Dec to 28th Dec 16 was observed as Ganit Saptah. Puzzles, Sudoku, models, constructions were organized to brighten the skills of students. Samay and Aditya Yadav of class IX not only recited poems on mathematics in assembly but an informative speech on importance of mathematics was also given by Jhanvi of class VIII. The celebration proved to be educative and informative for connecting mathematics concepts with real life situations.
