Karan Vaswani of class XIB brought laurels to school by excelling in the Science Open Merit Test conducted by Delhi State Science Teacher's Forum. He was awarded Certificate of Merit in Prize Distribution function at Yuvashakti Model School by Dr. (Smt.) Sunita S Kaushik, Director, SCERT, on 30 July 2018. The Principal madam congratulated and wished him success in the near future.

It was a matter of immense pride and glory when not only the school but Class XII toppers -Lakshmi Soni (Science); Deepti Dahiya (Commerce) and Gauri Aggarwal (Humanities) were felicitated at 10+2 Topper Award Function organized by Tatpar Trust on 28th July 2018 at Airforce Auditorium. The school received momento and students were accoladed with certificates and momento amidst loud cheering and applause by Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj- Head of Educational and Welfare Society, Delhi. This award function was a source of inspiration and encouragement for the school students. The Principal Ms. Rooma Pathak whole heartedly congratulated all the awardees.

It was an honour for the school when P. VIJAY of class VIII got II Position in junior category in Light Solo Singing Zonal Competition held at Maxfort Public School on 28th July 2018.

School wishes him good luck for next level.

To inculcate the value of spirituality among the students, Hawan was organized for classes IX A and B on 13th July 2018 and classes IX C and D on 20th July 2018. The students were not only enlightened with the mantras recited but also participated with full enthusiasm. Students took the blessings and chanted Gayatri Mantra whose meaning was explained by the priest.

Thus all in all it was fruitful in imparting religious sentiments in them.

It was a moment of immense pleasure when our students achieved 3rd Position in Senior category at Hockey Zonal Competition (Zone XI) held on 19th July 2018 at GBSSS NO.1 Keshav puram.

Reading actually aids in brain development, especially in child?s first five years of life. Reading is also one of the best activities to provide the foundational language and literacy skills children needs to succeed. So to expose to more books and learning skills, tiny tots visited to Library on July 19th, 2018 and enjoyed their time with books.

It was a moment of pride when Kajal of class V bagged FIRST position and Ridhima of class V, Krish of class VI and Devansh of class IX achieved THIRD POSTION in Judo Zonal Tournament held on 16th July 2018 to 18th July 2018 at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth, Pitampura.

MMPS organized Lawn Tennis Zonal Tournament from 13th to 17thJuly 2018.The school playground atmosphere was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. It was the moment of great honour and pride when the students of MMPS participated with great enthusiasm and showed their worthy efforts and team spirit in all the games. Almost 20 schools from zone XI participated in the event. The chief guest Mrs. Richa Kalra (DDE Zone XI ), Mrs. Pushpa Ratnam (SPE);  Mr. Y .D. Sharma (Sports Secretary Boys) ;  Mrs. Rajesh (Sport Secretary Girls) along with Mrs. Rooma Pathak, the Principal of school inaugurated the tournament. Mrs. Rooma Pathak, our revered Principal welcomed the esteemed gathering and also emphasized on the importance of sports. The whole event was held under the supervision of Mr. V.S. Rana .It was an over joyous moment for the school and all participants.

Friday, July 13, 2018, was celebrated as the Rain Dance in school for the tiny tots. The purpose of this event was to introduce the tiny-tots to the monsoon season and all the best practices that go along with it. The students were taken in the garden to feel the rain.

Children enjoyed themselves thoroughly as they experienced the joy of splashing about in the puddles, having fun in the rain while staying protected from the rains in their umbrellas. The multi-hued umbrellas and the bright eyed, smiling faces of the children infused the atmosphere with energy and fun.
