Long before the numbers were invented, we used to count using some kind of physical objects such as sticks or stones. After that, lines and marks also continued for a long time for counting various things. Then, the numbers came into existence and there was a need to adopt a standard system for counting, that's, a mathematical notation for expressing numbers, using digits or symbols.

We call it as 'System of Numeration.'

Students of grade IV made Indian Place Value Caterpillar and International Place Value Octopus for the above concept. They showcased their art skills and beautifully designed "Indian and International System of Numeration." The activity was very fruitful and beneficial for the students as they came to know about the difference between Indian and International Place Value System.

To make the students understand the significance and need of different sectors of Indian economy of our country, posters were made on every sector describing what is involved in it by the students of Grade X on 24 April, 2021

The groups showed excitement each student showed incredible interest. The action brought out different learning results like what are different sectors of Indian economy and activities are counted in these sectors.

The famous proverb 'Health is Wealth' means Health is most significant, not money.

Staying Healthy is not just being physically fit, but also includes emotional, social and mental wellbeing of any individual. As such " HEALTH IS WEALTH" day was celebrated by the dynamic youngsters of Pre-Primary kids on 27th April 21' wherein children were taught about the most important element to lead and practice, i.e., " A HEALTHY LIFE" wherein a person should be "PHYSICALLY FIT" by playing, exercising, practicing healthy regime etc. Kids learnt various "YOGA ASNAS" by their teachers. "FLAMELESS COOKING” class for the young pals was the treat to them.  Grade L.K.G. kids learnt Monaco toping, U.K.G. kids learnt to make Vegetable Sandwiches and Grade 1 kids learnt to make Sprouts. Children were explained about importance of Health through a informative Power Point Presentation and various related videos were further shown to enhance the knowledge of young ones.

It was indeed a day of learning with lots of fun.

जीवन में हंसना इतना ही जरूरी है, जितना कि खाना पीना। महान लोगों के अनुसार  हंसना एक दवा से भी ज्यादा असरदार होता है। इसी बात का अनुसरण करते हुए कक्षा 2 के छात्रों के लिए हास्य कविता प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। छात्रों ने  प्रतियोगिता में हास्यप्रद, स्वरचित कविताएँ सुना कर सबको हंसी से लोट पोट कर दिया।

इस प्रतियोगिता में छात्रों का उमंग व उत्साह देखते ही बनता था।

दिनांक 26.4.21 को एम. एम. पब्लिक स्कूल पीतमपुरा, दिल्ली. कक्षा- चौथी में  वर्चुअल गतिविधि कक्षा (सिनेमा ) आयोजित की गई जिसमें छात्रों को एक पंचतंत्र की एक कहानी दिखाई गई जिसमें उनको 'घमंड न करने की' शिक्षा दी गई।  साथ ही साथ कहानी से संज्ञा  शब्दों को चुनकर उनके भेदों की तालिका में लिखने के लिए कहा गया।  छात्रों ने आनंदपूर्वक कहानी के माध्यम से संज्ञा के भेदों को जाना। हिंदी व अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओं का ज्ञान छात्रों को एक साथ दिया गया। अंत में कुछ उर्दू अभिवादन के शब्दों को भी कक्षा में सिखाया गया।  पूरी गतिविधि में छात्रों ने खेल-खेल में बहुत कुछ सीखा। छात्रों का उत्साह- उमंग व प्रसन्नता इन तस्वीरों से स्पष्ट बनती है।

एम. एम. पब्लिक स्कूल द्वारा प्री प्राइमरी के छात्रों के मानसिक व बौद्धिक विकास के लिए सिनेमा दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। जिसके अंतर्गत छात्रों ने विभिन्न चलचित्रों को देखा । इस क्रिया के द्वारा बच्चों का मनोरंजन तो हुआ साथ ही साथ कला एकीकरण को ध्यान में रखते हुए कई रचनात्मक गतिविधियाँ भी कराई गई। एल.के. जी. के छात्रों ने पेपा पिग के चलचित्र को देखा व संबंधित चित्रों में रंग भरा। यू. के.जी. के छात्रों को भी पेपा पिग दिखाई गई , उन्होंने चलचित्र देखकर अपना पसंदीदा चित्र बनाया और उसमे आकर्षक रंग भरा।

कक्षा 1 के छात्रों ने  पंचतंत्र की कहानी "बंदर और मगरमच्छ" को ध्यान पूर्वक देखा, कहानी से संबंधित क्रियाकलाप "संज्ञा स्तंभ" भी बनाए

To commend the Earth Day that is observed on 22 of April consistently and make mindfulness on basic issues like an Earth-wide temperature boost, contamination and the disappearing woods cover, the students from Grade III to VIII drove a development movement on every Friday of the month April under the guidance of ECO CLUB

The students attended workshops, online courses on the significance of earth organized on first Friday. On second friday, the students planted saplings in and around their homes. The third Friday, they made notes to say thanks for mother earth, cleaned the area of their homes and enhanced natural product plates and serving of mixed greens.

Subsequently, the students discovered that environmental change matters and has influenced the globe making it a debilitated planet. Furthermore, presently taking such little activities, the children have encountered the worth of the spotless and sound earth.

Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April annually to acknowledge the global climate crisis which is at an alarming state and requires our immediate attention.

This year's theme for Earth Day 2021 is "Restore Our Earth." The theme signifies that we need to start doing our bit in order to restore the planet and focus on rebuilding the world's ecosystems.

The III and IV class students contributed their bit by creating awareness among masses. Students were dressed up and played role of mother Earth.

To spread awareness regarding saving the planet from the destructive human activities, students of Grade VI to IX prepared slogans, posters, models on Earth Day on April 22,2021 showing the concern to save the earth. Under the guidance of parents and teachers, the kids expressed their views on how we can save the earth for future generations.

The movement was indeed beneficial and a spark to create concern about the Mother Earth.

To make the students comprehend the importance of equality and dignity in democracy, the students of Grade VII took up a number of activities virtually in the second week of April.

The students learnt the various rights mentioned under the Constitution of India like right to vote, right to speak, equality based on caste, income and religion etc. and so forth PPTs and recordings on different kinds of governments were made by the students and clarified during the class practically. They also browsed on the internet about the schemes run by the government to bring equality in society and also about the social reformers who brought equality among the people irrespective of caste, creed and religion and wrote about their biography.

The action filled the students with the feeling of duties, practice of rights and eliminating social imbalance from the country.
