Activity on Wild Animals

My performance activity on the theme “WILD ANIMALS” was conducted for the students of U.K.G on 11th July 19’. Little pals spoke about their favorite wild animals. They were beautifully dressed up according to their topic and were holding beautiful prop too. All the students spoke with great confidence and enthusiasm as if they have always been speaking on stage and there was nothing called stage fear.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON EAT HEALTHY

“To keep the body in good health is a duty…

Otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear”

A healthy diet helps pave the way to a healthy life. As such an informative special message assembly on ‘EAT HEALTHY’ was organized for the pals of Pre-Primary on Monday 15th July 2019. Children were made aware with Dietary guidelines like eat healthy food, Keep fat to a minimum, opt physical regime to keep your body fit, Eat lots of fiber, Eat food rich in Calcium and Iron. Include nutritious food, vitamins and minerals in your diet. Children were taught to have minimum junk food like bread, pasta, maggi, chips, pepsi etc.

1.Children were taught to have a healthy start to school by having a fruit and a glass of milk.

2. Important take home message was inculcated amongst the mind of children i.e., Eat Healthy and Stay Healthy

Felicitation of Toppers of Commerce Olympiad

International Commerce Olympiad is organized every year by Commerce Teachers’ Foundation which not only recognizes the efforts of students but also appreciates the hard work done by the commerce fraternity.

One more feather added to the glory of the school when Simran Batra of the school received an award for her exemplary performance in Commerce Olympiad along with her teacher Mrs. Santosh Batra on 30th June,2019 at India International Centre, Lodhi Estate, Delhi. The chief guest was Prof. R.K. Singh, Head and Dean of Commerce Department of Delhi University. He congratulated all the CBSE toppers and best performers of Commerce Olympiad and wished them for their future endeavors.

Participation in International Yoga Day Celebration

Yash Malhan of class X and Shubham Kumar of class IX are the participants in NCC Camp organized at NCC Bhawan, Sector-19, Rohini from 12th June 2019 to 21st June 2019 where they actively participated in various activities like Shooting, Marching and Drill activities.

On the occasion of the International Yoga Day 2019, 2DBN Battalion celebrated Yoga Day in NCC Bhawan. Knowledge about Yoga like benefits and history of Yoga in India was given by the expert Yogacharyas and they performed different asanas along with the students.

All in all, it was a successful day where mind and body got rejuvenated.

Felicitation of MMPians by Microsoft

COMPUDON, the official championship on MS Office Applications is organized every year by Cyberlearning in collaboration with Microsoft where thousands of students participate and compete for World Championship in Microsoft Applications.

This year from our school Karan Vaswani of class XII and Lavi Hassija of class X participated in COMPUDON- Season IX on 21-May-2019 and not only cleared the exam but also earned Microsoft Office Specialist Badge and qualify to be INDIA FINALISTS.

They were felicitated in an award function held at Sri Sathya Sai International Centre Auditorium, Lodhi Road on June 3, 2019 by eminent personalities from Cyberlearning and Microsoft.

Students were motivated and encouraged to learn more and invest in their skills to be in pace with fast moving world.

School takes pride in them and wishes them all the best for their future endeavors.

Celebration of Yoga Day

“Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition to the world.”

To commemorate “Yoga Day” in the school a special assembly was organized on 31st May 2019. Students performed various asanas and postures including pranayama and meditation and Nitin Prajapati of class XII had delivered speech on Yoga in the presence of respected principal madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak. The students were not only enlightened about the importance of Yoga but also the benefits of performing yoga daily. They were made aware about self-healing process of yoga. Our respected principal madam motivates the students to make yoga a part of daily routine.

Thus, the students were quite excited while trying yoga asana with their teachers.

Poster Making Activity on Say No to Bullying by Art & Craft Club

Art and Craft Club organized a Poster making activity on the topic- SAY NO TO BULLYING in the school premises on 24th May 2019. All the club students participated and made posters with great enthusiasm. During this activity student learnt what is Bullying, how to deal with it and what can be done to stop it. Their understanding was clearly shown in the posters which can be used effectively for spreading awareness. The activity was successfully organized by Art and Craft club and was motivated and appreciated by Principal Mam.

Activity on Reduce Reuse and Recycle by Art & Craft Club

Art and craft club organized an exhibition of artifacts made out of waste material on Reduce Reuse Recycle in the school premises 15th May 2019. Waste material like Newspapers, Jute Bags, Old Plates and Waste Coloured Papers were effectively and efficiently used. Young artists made useful and beautiful things like Basket, Purses, paper dolls etc. with enthusiasm.

Poster making activity on the topic- Reduce Reuse Recycle was also organized on 17th May 2019. All the club students participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors. These Young Artists made posters that were not only beautiful but were great source of awareness also.

During this activity students learned how to be ecofriendly and how to use every bit of waste product to make a new thing. The activity was successfully organized by Art and Craft club and was motivated and appreciated by Principal Mam.
