Earth Day Celebration

Earth is believed to be the only planet which nurtures life in the “known Universe”. Infact it is the only habitable planet which has an abundance of air, water, plants, animals and human beings. To reinstate our responsibilities towards mother Earth, a special assembly was conducted by the Pre-Primary students on 22nd April, 2025 which spread the message that it is the top most priority to take care of the planet and protect its valuable resources from various pollutants for generations to come.

A beautiful play was presented by the students of Grade 2. Numerous art and craft activities were organized in each class where children participated enthusiastically.

The assembly was concluded through a strong message that is top safeguard our environment by planting a sapling by each and every child of the school.

RED COLOUR DAY CELEBRATION

Little MMPians brought the magic of red colour by dressing in different shades of Red colour. Children explored exciting and creative activities to learn more about colour Red. Beautiful red rose bracelets were made by tiny tots, theme based worksheets deepened the understanding of Red colour. It was indeed a day of learning a new vibrant colour.

Special Assembly on Earth Day

A special assembly was organized to mark Earth Day on 22 April 2025.

The program commenced with a heartfelt English poem recitation by the Middle Department students. Shreyansh of Class VI presented a beautiful Hindi poem, and Aryan of Class VII shared a few impactful lines in Spanish, highlighting the global importance of Earth Day. A meaningful act on environmental conservation was also performed by the students of class VII.

The assembly concluded with a pledge to protect and preserve our planet. The event successfully inspired all to become more environment conscious.

Hawan Ceremony : A Spiritual Awakening

To seek blessings for the success of students and good health, a Hawan Ceremony for Class V was conducted in a serene atmosphere on Thursday, 17 April 2025 with the chanting of Vedic mantras.

Students participated with devotion, offering prayers for a successful and fruitful year ahead. The priest guided the students and emphasized on the importance of values and hard work in their studies.

The Hawan concluded with the distribution of prasad, leaving everyone with a sense of positivity and motivation.

Baisakhi Celebration by Tiny Tots

Baisakhi is a popular festival celebrated in India, especially in the Northern Indian States. It also marks the beginning of the New Year for the Sikh community. Baisakhi falls on the 13th of April every year. It is the time of joy and happiness for the people of all ages. Special message assembly (S.M.A.) was organised for the pals of Pre Primary classes. The assembly started with a prayer to seek blessings from the Almighty for the prosperous harvest season.

The students were shown a special movie on Baisakhi followed by a power point presentation and explanation on why Baisakhi is celebrated.

Dhol Dhamaka” was the highlight of the day where in children tapped their feet on the tunes of       Punjabi songs. Children were asked to bring Poori Chole with Gulab Jamun (Punjabi lunch) in their lunch. Each child enjoyed the delicacy of Punjabi food. Various art and craft activities were organised for students of each class i.e. from L.K.G. till Grade 2.

Children took Baisakhi happy memories with them with profound understanding of the tradition.

नारा लेखन

दिनाँक 11 अप्रैल 2025 को एम.एम. पब्लिक स्कूल में हिंदी सदन द्वारा 'नारा लेखन' प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें कक्षा चौथी से लेकर कक्षा नौवीं तक के छात्रों ने भाग लिया। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से छात्रों ने स्वास्थ्य से संबंधित अपने-अपने पसंद के ज्ञानवर्धक नारे लिखकर अपनी भावनाओं को प्रकट किया।

इस प्रतियोगिता के परिणाम इस प्रकार रहे-

प्रथम स्थान - मेघना, कक्षा - नौंवी ब
द्वितीय स्थान- वैष्णवी ,कक्षा- छठी अ
तृतीय स्थान- काव्या, कक्षा- नौंवी स

Baisakhi & Ambedkar Jayanti – A Day of Culture and Inspiration

To instil cultural values and honour national icons, our school celebrated Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti on 11th April 2025 with great enthusiasm.

The event began with a soulful Baisakhi song by the school choir, setting a festive tone. A Class III student presented a thoughtful mono act on the life and contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. This was followed by a short speech by a Class VII student and a heartfelt poem recited by two Class IV students, both capturing the spirit of Baisakhi. The celebration reached its peak with a vibrant and energetic dance performance.

It was truly a memorable day, reflecting the values of unity, culture, and knowledge.

Special Assembly on World Health Day 2025

To mark the occasion of ‘World Health Day 2025’, a special assembly was organized by class X on April 7 with the theme ‘Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures’. The program focused on highlighting the importance of adopting healthy habits early in life to ensure long-term well-being.

The assembly commenced with an insightful speech followed by a thought-provoking poem, both emphasizing essential aspects of good health—balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, and personal hygiene.

Adding an interactive element, a lively quiz on healthy eating and mental wellness engaged the students, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm. The participants showcased their awareness and were applauded for their prompt responses.

Sunshine Fun Day

Our school hosted a "Sunshine Fun Day" on 7th April 2025 for students of Class III-V to provide a fun-filled experience, promoting physical activity, creativity, and teamwork.

The event began with a thrilling game of Hop Scotch, followed by an engaging school tour, where students explored various facilities. Craft activities brought out the creativity in our young learners, who enthusiastically created colorful art pieces. The day concluded with big smiles and wonderful memories.

Students had a blast, and it was a great way to unwind and recharge. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for all!

Special Assembly on ‘#SayNotoTobacco’

To raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and promote a healthy lifestyle, a special assembly on ‘Say No to Tobacco’ was conducted in collaboration with Brahama kumaris on April 3, 2025.

It began with a prayer and #meditation, followed by an insightful speech by sister Eti and Sister Anita Bhatia on self-discipline and the dangers of tobacco consumption. Various interactive activities engaged students, reinforcing the message of making wise choices. Towards the end of the session, a memento was presented by Brahama kumaris to the school.
