Flameless Culinary Creations

To develop culinary skills, Flameless Cooking Activity was organized for the students of class III on Friday, 31 JANUARY 2025. Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious but delectable delicacies. They prepared Monaco Biscuit Sandwich and Fruit Chaat containing healthy ingredients like cucumber, tomato, cheese and fruits like kiwi, strawberry, papaya, orange etc.

The flameless Activity helped the students in exploring their hidden talents, fostering their creativity and becoming independent.

Honourable Principal Ma,am  Mrs. Rooma Pathak appreciated the efforts of students and interacted with them about healthy recipes and their nutritive values.

57th Youth Parliament

"Empowered youth are the catalysts for positive change."

As an initiative of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, under the guidance of Honorable Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak, M.M. Public School hosted 57th Youth Parliament session on 29 January 2025 in the school premises. The event was graced by Mr. Bratin Sengupta, ex-MP, Rajya Sabha; Mr. Sharad Dwivedi, Under Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Mrs. Alka, DDE, Zone-19, Directorate of Education. The day began with lamp lighting followed by a formal welcome of the guests by honourable Principal Ma’am Ms. Rooma Pathak.

The students started a mock Parliamentary Session which consisted of legislative businesses like Oath Taking, Obituary Reference, Introduction of new members, Question Hour, Breach of Privilege, Papers to be laid, Message from Upper House, Calling Attention Motion, No confidence motion, Bill Introduction and Bill for consideration. The parliamentary session was followed by the address to the students by the guests who appreciated the efforts of the participants followed by the announcement of the results. Eight participants were declared the best speakers : First position was bagged by Aarzoo Arora (XI A),Second Position  Ritu (XI C)and Amrit Mallya (IX A), Third Position was shared among Kanika (IX B), Lavanya (IX B) and Anmolpreet Kaur (XI D), and fourth position was shared by Linika Gupta (XI D) and Prachi (IX B).

The session reflected the spirit of democracy and the power of informed youth in shaping the future.  It also taught students how to articulate their thoughts and respect diverse opinions. The event successfully concluded with a vote of thanks to the guests

अंतर्विद्यालय स्वामी विवेकानंद के सस्वर पाठ प्रतियोगिता में उपलब्धि

कक्षा छठी के छात्र मौलिक तथा कक्षा सातवीं के छात्र कुणाल अग्रवाल व कक्षा सातवीं 'ब' के छात्र तनिष चोपड़ा ने एम. एम. पब्लिक स्कूल का गौरव बढ़ाते हुए 19 जनवरी 2025 को आयोजित 'स्वामी विवेकानंद के सस्वर पाठ प्रतियोगिता' में क्रमशः तृतीयद्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया  यह अंतर्विद्यालय प्रतियोगिता  रामकृष्ण मिशन (रामकृष्ण आश्रम मार्ग)  में संपन्न हुई। प्रतियोगिता के बाद प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती रूमा पाठक जी ने विजेता  छात्रों की प्रशंसा की और उनके प्रयासों को सराहा।

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

To celebrate and commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution, Republic Day was celebrated on 24th January, 2024 with great enthusiasm.

The event began with a prayer, followed by a Poem Recitation and an inspiring speech by students, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution. The school choir sang a patriotic song. The function concluded with the National Anthem. In addition to the celebration, students were also shown multiple videos on patriotism in their respective classes to further instill national pride and responsibility.

 The celebration instilled a sense of national pride and responsibility among students and staff.

26th January holds a special place in the heart of each citizen of India, as it marks the historic moment when the constitution of India came into being. On this day, India embraced its identity as a Republic, committed to equality, secularism and self-governance.

A special assembly was hosted by the students of Pre- Primary wing on January 24th 2025. The assembly started with a special prayer followed by the general information about our constitution and its origin. Children were dressed up beautifully and danced on the tunes of their favourite patriotic songs as paying tribute to their nation.

Revered Madam Principal Mrs Rooma Pathak appreciated the confident efforts of the little MMPians and also highlighted on the significance of the day.

The classrooms and the corridors of junior wing reverberated with joy and celebration. The tri-coloured decoration and various art work of every class level added to the nationalist pride of every MMPian.

Kids Eye Screening Camp Report

On 22 January 2025, M.M Public School in collaboration with Lions Club organized Eye Screening Camp for students from Class I to IX. The camp aimed to promote eye health and facilitate early detection of vision issues.

A team of professional optometrists conducted the eye screening. Students received guidance on eye care, including reducing eye strain, proper lighting, and regular breaks from screens.

The event proved to be a valuable learning experience, raising awareness about regular eye check-ups and promoting good vision among students.

Remarkable Positions At Inter School Music Competition

We are thrilled to announce that Ronak Thakur of class VI won the FIRST POSITION in Junior Category for Instrumental Music organized by Navjyoti Foundation NGO run by Dr. Kiran Bedi on Tuesday, 21 January 2025.

Ginal Mehra, Drishti Gupta, Anikesh of VI, Umang Lohat and Sunny Yadav of class VIII also won SECOND POSITION for patriotic group song competition.

Honorable Principal Ma’am Ms. ROOMA PATHAK congratulated the team of music students for this outstanding achievement and for making the school proud of their talent.

 

 

68th National School Games of India Tennis Championship (2024-25)

Kumkum Clinches Sliver and Silver Medals!

We are thrilled to announce that Kumkum has achieved phenomenal success at the 68th National School Games of India Tennis Championship, held at Ranchi, Jharkhand from January 16, 2025, to January 19, 2025.

Silver Medal in Team Event:- Kumkum won a prestigious  Sliver 🥈 Medal in the team tennis event, showcasing exceptional teamwork and skill. Remarkably, she achieved this feat without dropping a single round!

Silver Medal in Girls Singles U19:- Adding to her glory, Kumkum also secured a Silver 🥈 Medal in the Girls Singles U19 category, demonstrating her impressive performance in the singles competition.

RUN FOR ROAD SAFETY

MMPians enthusiastically participated in the Road Safety Run flagged off by Honorable Minister Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways. It was organized by SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) during the Surakshit Safar Campaign on Sunday, 19 January 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan.

The event was a wonderful opportunity instilling road safety awareness among students and empowering them to contribute to a safer society.
