Students of class I conducted the Walking Water Experiment on 10th July 2025, to observe capillary action and colour mixing. Cups with coloured and plain water were linked using paper towels. Over time, water travelled through the towels, mixing colours in the process. Students were fascinated to see water move without pouring and to discover how new colours formed. The activity provided a simple demonstration of how plants absorb water and sparked scientific curiosity in an engaging, hands-on way.

Students of class L.K.G., dressed in bright yellow outfits and carrying yellow-coloured objects radiated happiness and energy as they celebrated Yellow Colour Day on Thursday, 10th July 2025.

The celebration was designed to introduce and reinforce the recognition of the colour yellow. Engaging activities such as colouring yellow-themed pictures, cheerful hand printing, and a fun object identification game engaged children to recognize colour ‘yellow’ through hands-on experiences. The school corridor was also transformed into a sunny wonderland with yellow balloons.

The day fostered colour recognition in a fun-filled manner.

On Thursday, 10th July 2025 at approximately 9:04 AM IST, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck, with its epicentre in Jhajjar, Haryana—roughly 60 km west of Delhi—at a shallow depth near 10 km.

During the recent earthquake, prompt action was taken to ensure student safety. As per the emergency protocol, students immediately took cover under their desks. The situation was handled efficiently, and no injuries were reported.

Students of Class VI participated in a sacred Hawan ceremony held in the school auditorium on 9th July 2025 to seek blessings for knowledge, peace, and good health. The Hawan was conducted with holy ingredients like ghee, camphor, sandalwood, and various herbs to purify the surroundings and invoke divine blessings.

The chanting of mantras and the offering of samagri into the sacred fire created an atmosphere of positivity and spiritual energy. The ceremony helped students connect with traditional values and stay calm and focus.

Van Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Grades I and II on Friday, 4 July 2025. As part of the activity, students brought saplings from their homes and actively planted them within the school premises.

The activity developed a sense of environmental responsibility and awareness among young learners. With bright smiles and eager hands, the children planted their saplings with care, learning the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance.

The event not only connected students with nature but also fostered a spirit of nurturing and sustainability.

To acquire physical health, enhance motor skills, and foster social interaction, young learners of class LKG took part in the 20-Metre Hurdle Race on Friday, 4th July 2025. Little athletes cheered for each other and winners were applauded. The race provided children with the opportunity to exercise, strengthening their muscles and bones.

The Pre-Primary students were warmly welcomed back on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, after the summer break with a cheerful and delightful story dramatization aimed at creating an energetic and joyful atmosphere for the young learners.

The timeless fable “The Farmer and His Sons”—also known as “The Bundle of Sticks”—was thoughtfully enacted to convey the important moral, “Unity is Strength.” Through the dramatization, students observed how a tightly bound bundle of sticks remained unbreakable, while the individual sticks, once separated, could be snapped with ease. This simple yet powerful illustration effectively highlighted the importance of staying united and reinforced the essence of togetherness.

In addition to the story, students participated in a lively dance session that filled the room with excitement and enthusiasm. A special circle time was also organized, offering children the opportunity to reconnect with their peers, share their holiday experiences, and ease into the new school term in a warm and friendly setting.

Overall, the children thoroughly enjoyed their welcome back to school, and the day's activities set a positive tone for the learning journey ahead.

NCC cadets along with other students came together in the school premises to practise various asanas with great energy and mindfulness marking the International Yoga Day on Saturday, 21st June 2025.

Under the expert guidance of Mr. V.S. Rana and Mr. Gajendra, the participants performed a variety of yoga asanas including Tadasana (Mountain Pose), Vrikshasana (Tree Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Trikonasana (Triangle Pose), and Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). The session also included breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari Pranayama to enhance concentration and inner calm.

The celebration encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a regular practice for overall well-being.

In a proud moment for MMPS, four students were felicitated at the Inter-School Poster Making Competition organized by TERI EIACP on 5th June 2025 to mark World Environment Day. Held at TERI, New Delhi, the event focused on the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.”

Showcasing remarkable creativity and environmental awareness, Pari (Class IX) and Ahana Katariya (Class V) secured First Positions, while Avjeet (Class VIII) and Nehal Jain (Class V) earned Third Positions.

The ceremony featured storytelling sessions, the Mission LiFE Pledge, and insightful addresses by dignitaries including Dr. Vibha Dhawan (Director General, TERI), Dr. Dipankar Saharia (Senior Fellow & Senior Director, TERI), and Dr. P. K. Bhattacharya (Senior Fellow & Associate Director, TERI), along with renowned author Ms. Mariam Karim-Ahlawat.

Honorable Principal Ma'am Mrs. Rooma Pathak lauded the young achievers for their artistic brilliance and commitment to environmental conservation.

On the second day of Bhartiya Bhasha Summer Camp 2025, students enhanced their communication skills by interacting with each other in Punjabi while visiting shops and purchasing things.

As part of this experiential learning session, students enacted real-life situations such as buying toys, clothes, stationery, and food. They practiced initiating conversations, asking for prices, bargaining politely, and expressing gratitude—all in Punjabi.

This interactive session not only helped students improve their spoken Punjabi but also built their confidence in using the language in day-to-day situations.
