‘Each One Clean One’ Shramdan – Principal’s Pride

The school resonated with the spirit of Shramdan through the ‘Each One Clean One’ drive on 29TH August 2025. Students of Classes I–V enthusiastically cleaned and decorated their classrooms, later inviting Principal Ms. Rooma Pathak for a walk-through, which motivated them immensely. Classes VI–VIII took charge of tidying selected areas within the school premises, while students of IX–XII extended their efforts beyond the campus, transforming neglected public spots. The striking before-and-after photographs showcased their hard work and dedication.

The activity was not just about cleanliness—it fostered teamwork, responsibility, and a deeper sense of respect for the environment, leaving every participant with a feeling of pride and accomplishment.

It is a proud moment for MM Public School as our students showcased remarkable performances in the Zonal Yoga Competition held from 25th August 2025 to 28th August 2025 at Govt. GCSV Rampura, bringing laurels to the school with their dedication and hard work.

Life Skills Activity – Dry Your Clothes

L.K.G. students participated in a fun and engaging life-skill activity called “Dry Your Clothes”, on August 28, 2025, where they learnt to dry their clothes using cloth clips in a playful and hands-on manner. Through this creative exercise, the young children developed fine motor skills and gained a sense of independence by completing a useful everyday task. The activity encouraged them to take initiative and contribute at home, strengthening their confidence in helping parents with simple chores. It was also a delightful way to make learning practical and enjoyable, fostering both self-reliance and a cooperative spirit among the little learners.

Third Position at Interschool Competition

We are proud to share that Lakshy Roy and Avni of Class VII & Kunal Aggarwal of Class VIII secured III Position in the Mathematics Quiz and Sanskrit Competition (Dev Stuti) respectively, in an interschool competition DARPAN held at Jagannath International School on Saturday, 23rd August 2025.

The school community congratulated the participants for their commendable performance and wished them success in future endeavors.

Special Message Assembly: Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

A Special Message Assembly was organized on 27th August 2025 to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion and spiritual spirit for the Pre-Primary Department. L.K.G. and U.K.G. students came dressed in traditional attire, spreading festive cheer. L.K.G. students coloured pictures of Lord Ganesha, while U.K.G. students made Modaks, Ganesha’s favourite sweet. Students of Grades 1 and 2 created beautiful drawings of Ganesha using their imagination and watched a movie on Ganesh Chaturthi. A PowerPoint presentation was shown and discussed to deepen their understanding of the festival and its values. The celebration concluded with a joyful dance performance on Ganesha songs, making the event both spiritual and fun-filled.

Twinning Cultural Exchange – “Twinning is Winning”

Our school participated in the Twinning Cultural Exchange Programme held on 27th August 2025, with 30 students of class VIII at GGSSS, Anandwas, Kohat Enclave representing the school. The event featured fun sports games, mono acting, debate, folk and patriotic songs, dance with yoga, and a face mask competition.

Tanish (8B) – 2nd in Debate
Kunal (8B) – 3rd in Debate

Outstanding Achievement of MMPians at CBSE Central Zone Lawn Tennis Tournament

School achieved a remarkable feat by winning the CBSE Central Zone Lawn Tennis Tournament held at KR Mangalam World School, Greater Kailash, Delhi. The school's outstanding performance was evident in the impressive medal tally.

In the Girls Under-19 category, the team comprising Divya Ungrish, Shivangi Sharma, Kumkum, and Manvi Rathi clinched the GOLD MEDAL.

Additionally, the Girls Under-17 team, consisting of Neelakshi Lather, Aura Malik, Miraya Aggarwal, and Adya Jain, also secured a GOLD MEDAL.

Furthermore, the Boys Under-19 team, which included Govind Singh Khokar, Taanishq Mandaliya, Austin Bindal, and Aditya Rajput, won a SILVER MEDAL.

Moreover, the Girls Under-14 team, consisting of Tyakshi Lather and Rushika Dolcy, bagged a BRONZE MEDAL, showcasing the school's overall excellence in sports across various age groups.

Use of ICT in Cleanliness Drive

The school conducted an activity on the Use of ICT in Cleanliness Drive on 25th August 2025 (Monday). Students of Classes I-V watched an informative video on waste management, followed by sharing their reflections with teachers and friends. Classes VI-XII created short videos promoting eco-friendly living.

Dramatization of Doctor’s Clinic

The L.K.G. students eagerly transformed into doctors, nurses, and patients for a dramatized doctor’s clinic on 26 August 2025, being introduced to terms like medicine, syrup, tablet, stethoscope, and injection, which enriched their vocabulary. This imaginative role-play provided a safe and creative space for exploring caregiving scenarios, decision-making, and potential outcomes. It also fostered empathy, emotional expression, and teamwork while enhancing communication and fostering resilience. The experience boosted their confidence and creativity and laid a solid foundation for social, emotional, and cognitive development.

MMPS Awarded With 5th Position in 57th Youth Parliament

In the 57th Youth Parliament Competition (2024–25), organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for Delhi schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, and NDMC, M.M. Public School secured the 5th position. The award was conferred by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, in the presence of Shri Nikunj Bihari Dhal, Secretary (Parliamentary Affairs), Shri Bratin Sengupta, Former Rajya Sabha MP, Smt. Maya Narolia, MP Rajya Sabha and Shri Satya Prakash, Additional Secretary.

The prestigious honour was received by Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Rooma Pathak, accompanied by the awardee students, during the Prize Distribution Ceremony held at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi, on 22nd August 2025.

The following best speakers of the youth parliament were given certificates as special prizes.Students Aarzoo Arora (XII A), Lavanya Saini (X A), Anmol Preet Kaur (XII E), Linika Gupta (XII E), Prachi Marwah (X A), Ritu Sahu ( XA) Kanika Yadav(XA) and Amrit Malia (X B). The school community takes immense pride in this remarkable achievement, which highlights the value of parliamentary procedures and debates in fostering self-confidence, leadership, and democratic spirit among students.
