Revered Director Sir, Shri Somesh Rishi Pathak and respected Principal Ma’am Smt. Rooma Pathak, had the privilege of celebrating Independence Day organised under the patronage of Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh, Cabinet Minister, Government of Delhi, on 15th August 2025 at Vasudev Ghat, Delhi.

The event commenced with Patriotic Tiranga Yatra followed by soul-stirring Yamuna Arti. The vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has consistently stressed the importance of the cleanliness and rejuvenation of the River Yamuna, resonated deeply throughout the programme.

Our brilliant innovators Aryan Arora and Anshuman Singh (Team Buddy Up) along with Aditya Shandilya and Aditya Sharma (Team Hoop Rolling Toy) from Class XII brought laurels to school at the STEAM Innovation League (SIL) National Round, held on 2nd August 2025 in New Delhi.

They secured a coveted position in the Top 100 among 50,000 plus teams. They proudly received a trophy and certificates, making us beam with pride!

M.M. Public School celebrated Independence Day and Janmashtami on 14th August 2024 with patriotic fervour and festive spirit. The celebration commenced with the Gayatri Mantra, followed by patriotic songs, speeches, and dances. A special highlight was the charming ramp walk by Grade I students and a melodious patriotic song mashup by Mittul of Class XA.

The Janmashtami celebration added a vibrant cultural touch with devotional songs, Krishna-themed dances, and beautifully dressed little “Krishnas” and “Radhas” spreading joy among all.

The event concluded with the dignified. Flag hoisting and the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with pride, devotion, and gratitude for the nation and its heritage.

To integrate technology with learning and promote experiential education, videos on Independence Day and Janmashtami were shown to students on interactive panels in all classes. These visual presentations not only captured students’ interest but also provided them with an immersive understanding of the historical significance and cultural values associated with these festivals.
The videos brought to life the stories of India's struggle for independence and Lord Krishna's birth, engaging students and fostering patriotism and appreciation for India's rich heritage. A resounding success!

The Pre-Primary Department celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2025 with great enthusiasm. L.K.G. and U.K.G. students coloured the Indian flag with vibrant finger impressions, class 1 made tricolour caps, and class 2 created tricolour soldiers. A PowerPoint presentation explained the importance of the day and the national flag’s colours, instilling pride and respect for the nation among the young learners.

Janmashtami was joyfully celebrated in the Pre-Primary Department on 13th August 2025. Students of L.K.G. and U.K.G. came dressed as Radha and Krishna, adding charm and devotion to the occasion. A beautifully decorated idol of Lord Krishna was the centre of attraction. L.K.G. students performed a delightful Radha-Krishna dance. Engaging activities like cotton pasting, flute making, and matki decoration were organized. These hands-on experiences helped students learn about the festival's significance. The celebration was filled with joy, devotion, and cultural learning.

A Hawan ceremony was organised in the school premises on Wednesday, 13 August 2025 for class IV to invoke blessings for peace, prosperity, and well-being. The sacred ritual was performed by the priest who shared valuable lessons with the students such as honesty, respect, and kindness in daily life. The atmosphere was filled with the chanting of mantras, creating a spiritual and serene environment. All participants offered ahuti into the holy fire and prayed for the success and happiness of everyone. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prasad to all.

Under the ongoing Cleanliness Drive, a special storytelling session on sustainability and environmental issues was conducted on Wednesday, 13 August 2025. Teachers narrated inspiring stories highlighting the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and protecting nature. Students from Classes I to XII actively participated and engaged in discussions on ways to conserve the environment and keep our earth clean.

Following the session, students showcased their creativity by writing letter to their friend, each presenting one unique idea to keep their home and school clean. The activity not only encouraged awareness but also motivated students to take practical steps towards maintaining cleanliness and sustainability in their daily lives.
