It was a matter of immense pride and pleasure when Pratima Agnani (XII-A), Bhavik Valecha (XI-A), Jigyasa Sharma(XI-A) and Karan Vaswani (XI-B) participated in 26th National Children's Science Congress held at Zonal level on 21 August 2018 at GSV, C-Block, Saraswati Vihar and were selected for the Centre level. Their presentation on Phenol: A Serious Environmental Threat won appreciation of the judges.

The school congratulates them and wishes them success in their next endeavor.

L.K.G kids were delighted to be on swings on August  21, 2018.

Number 5 was introduced to L.K.G students through a story. Students were motivated to count 5 objects using different real life objects and various flash cards. They tapped and jumped on the count of number 5. Little hand also did an associated activity related to number 5 to enhance their fine motor skills. 

In order to inculcate spiritual values in this world of materialism, a short trip to ISKCON TEMPLE was organized for the tiny L.K.G and U.K.G on August 20, 2018 on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The students were accompanied by their teachers and the support staff. They reached the temple by school buses and spent their entire day in the calm and serene environment of the temple. Delicious Prasad was also served which was relished by the young devotees. Thereafter, the students were taken into the area where idols are worshipped. They were encouraged to sing and dance on the chants of Hare Rama, Hare Krishna followed by the Gallery walk. The visit was an apt example of learning beyond the classrooms.

It was heartening to see youngsters put forth a concentrated effort with a lot of energy and get-up and go to the Independence Day festivities as in different celebrations.

To arouse the high spirits of nationalism, a special assembly on Independence Day was conducted by Pre-Primary children on August 14, 2018 in the school.

A tribute to great freedom fighters, patriotic songs and Fancy Dress competition (representing States) rendered by the children filled the hearts of MMPians.

These events are important to enhance the knowledge of the children. It was indeed a memorable day.

To  enlighten the spirit of patriotism, mettle and courage, With faith in the words and pride in our souls, MMPS community celebrated 72nd Independence Day on August 14, 2018. A spell bound speech on the freedom of India was given by a student.  Tiny tots  sang  a patriotic song and recited 'VANDE MATARAM'. A drama was also presented.  All the students and staff members were present at the occasion. The entire event was quite enriching and delightful for all.

It was a moment of pride when Tarishi of Class IX won III position in the Zonal Mono acting held at Zonal level. Principal Madam congratulated the winner and wished her success in future competitions.

To celebrate VAN MAHOTSAV a Tree plantation drive was organized by ECO CLUB on 8th August 2018. To save our environment various saplings of ornamental and shady trees were planted by the Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak, and the students of primary wing of the school. The day proved to be a great success in spreading the awareness of importance of plantation of trees along with Eco-Club.

To invoke the blessings of God for the growth and success of school and students, a Hawan Ceremony was conducted for class IV on August 8, 2018. All the rituals were performed by the priest. Students and Teachers participated with great zeal and exuberance. They chanted Gayatri Mantra. The ceremony was worthwhile in conveying religious beliefs to the pupils. Prasad was distributed to all. Blessings were given to the little MMPians.

With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour Grade Pre School and Pre Primary wing celebrated Yellow Colour day on August 7, 2018.

A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children outfitted in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their preferred yellow dresses but also sang melodies on yellow object and danced with joy and vigour in their respective classes to make it a complete Yellow Day!

Class activities like finger printing in banana, tearing pasting in Sunflower etc. were taken up by the teachers. The teachers were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with expressiveness, flair and ease.

The motive of celebrating Yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills among the students. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.
