DATA COLLECTION OF FLAGS

ACTIVITY :

We teachers of maths dept. conducted  this activity with students of primary, secondary classes . Students brought charts , colors, glaze papers and some of the decorative material.

Students were asked to collect information regarding the teams that took part in common wealth games 2015 and who won in any of the game or sport. Teachers guided children in making flags of the winning teams by telling them about the dimensions of the flag, logo of the common wealth games. Moreover , team members who won the game were also specified  by the teachers . Teachers and students collectively decorated the board .

LEARNING OUTCOMES :

  • Students came to know about the countries that took part in common wealth games 2015
  • Students are aware about flags and logos of the countries .
  • Team members of winning teams are also very well known by students.
  • Students are now having knowledge regarding games of common wealth games 2015

 

CONCLUSION :

  • Students have now knowledge of dimensions of flag of different countries
  • Application  of ratio and proportion is inculcated to students

CHESS ZONAL COMPETITION

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students of M.M Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura achieved 3rd position (Got 5 points out of 6)  in Chess zonal tournament held on 23rd July 2015  at  APEEJAY,  Pitampura.

SCRAP BOOK COMPETITION ON LEAVES

TOPIC:  To study different parts of various leaves.

ACTIVITY:

  1. Collection of different leaves from their surroundings.
  2. Pasting of leaves in scrapbook.
  3. Labeling different parts of the leaves.  

LEARNING OUTCOME:

  1. Students researched about different leaves in their locality.
  2. They are able to identify different parts of various leaves.
  3. They have become sensitive towards the plants as well as environment.
  4. It enhanced creativity among students.

 

  •  The activity was conducted successfully. Children learned and enjoyed throughout the activity. The scrapbooks have been stored for future reference.

SELF INTRODUCTION FOR LKG-UKG

The activity on ?Self Introduction? done in classes in L.K.G and U.K.G on 27th April 2015.Students confidence shows their urge to learn more and more. The Activity helped children in coming out of their comfort zone and speaking in a group.

PUPPET SHOW FOR LKG-UKG

The Montessori Group organized a Puppet Show for the kids of L.K.G and U.K.G.Students were very keen and happy to be a part of the show.

DRAWING COMPETITION FOR LKG-UKG

Colours bring happiness in our lives. The small MMPIANS were excited and curious to explore the world of colours and participated in Drawing competitionwhich was held on 13th July?15 for classes L.K.G and U.K.G.

BANK VISIT FOR LKG-UKG

All children are curious to explore the world around them we gave them an opportunity to visit to the bank on 13th July?15. After visiting the bank students get to know ?What is a Bank??   

SKATING ZONAL COMPETITION

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students of M.M Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in Skating zonal tournament held on 22nd July  2015 at D.A.V.,  N.D Block, Pitampura.

CARD MAKING COMPETITION

Art and Craft club of MMPS organized card making activity on the festival of Sri-lanka, UK, India, and Pakistan in the school premises on 24th April 2015. All the students of art and craft club participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors. These young artists made cards with great enthusiasm.

Learning Outcome : During this activity student has learnt a lot about the festival of other nations and  took back the spirit of brotherhood. These young artists made cards with great enthusiasm.

Conclusion : This activity was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Priti Anand (HOD of art and craft club).

FLAMELESS COOKING

The students of class lll-A did flameless cooking on 17th july.The students prepared Sweetchat Raita with curd and vegetables adding sugar and chaat masala.Students learnt to prepare a dish without flame.They also learnt basic habits while doing cooking like washing hands before cooking,keep the cooking area clean and dry and the manner to serve the dish.Students enjoyed the activity a lot.
