Painting Competition under National Compaign on Energy Conseravtion 2015

To create awareness among the students on how to conserve energy, Power Finance Corporation Limited has organized painting competition on 6-11-2015. With great zeal and enthusiasm our students participated in the competition whole heartedly. It was a moment of great pride and glory when paintings made by Muskan Khan of IX and Kaustabh of  V have been selected among fifty best painting out of paintings received from various schools of Delhi. They both were awarded with cash prize of Rs. One Thousand along with momento and certificate of recognition and school bags by Power Finance Corporation Limited.   

 

COMPARITIVE STUDY OF OLD AND NEW GADGETS

"Whether you are on the go, in your office or at home, tech gadgets can introduce great time-saving advantages into your day, as well as make life easier."

These tech gadgets have been in use since ages but there is lot of difference in old and new gadgets available nowadays. As computer club students have always been on the edge when technology is talked about, so for students to understand the difference between old and new gadgets, understanding advantages and disadvantage, the prices that today?s generations have to pay for the new technology. And what will be good and bad effects of these new developed and developing gadgets on the future generations.

Students were made aware of all these facts and were given guided Internet facility so that they can further search the information and make project files on "Comparative Study on Old and New Gadgets" using MS-WORD.

For around a 15 working days students were working on this project and on 9th November 2015 Activity Incharge Mrs. Neeru mam visited the ICT Club to see the students work and interacted with them. She could not stop appreciating the project files made by students. Students were motivated and encouraged.

Though all files developed by students were great and finding best among those was difficult, still to announce the results it was as follows :

ANTI CRACKER RALLY

Anti-Cracker Rally was organized by Eco-Club on 03 November 2015 to create awareness about deleterious effects of burning crackers. The rally started from the school covering area around the school,colonies in vasudha enclave, and also among the residents of Shalimar Bagh near Sheesh Mahal. More than 30 students of class XA, XB, XC participated with great enthusiasm. Students prepared attractive posters and banners on ?Say No to Crackers?. Pamphlets were distributed & students also had interaction with local people. During rally students enlightened the residents about harmful effects of air and noise pollution through slogans and door to door counseling. Thus rally was successful in emphasizing the need for celebratinganEco-friendly Diwali.

HINDI VAAD VIVAAD PRATIYOGITA

CBSE NORTH ZONE-1 LAWN TENNIS TOURNAMENT 2015-16

It was a moment of pride and glory when CBSE North Zone-1 Lawn Tennis Tournament 2015 -16 was held at our school from 28 October 2015 to 31October 2015 Boys Championship Under -14 Boys, Under-19 Boys. The observer Mr. James Morgan along with Director Mr. S.R. Pathak and Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak inaugurated the event and encouraged the students to excel in sports. Nearby 96 teams of different states of North India including Delhi, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Ambala, Solan, etc. participated and crowned the glory of school.64 teams of different states of North India played in Under-19 Boys category out of which M.M. Public School team comprising of Yugal Bansal(X), Parth Sharma (XII) Sahaj Somani (XII), Sacchitt Sharrma (IX) bagged IInd position and were awarded Silver Medal.

And in Under-14 Boys category M.M. Public School team comprising of Priyanshu Garg, Ricky Shehrawat and Maitre Rana bagged IVth position.

The selected team will now play at National level championship giving a tough fight to the champions of all over India.

Thus all in all it was a great sporting event which inculcated in the participants the feeling of team spirit and sportsmanship.

 

Trip to GOA

"All work and no play make Jack a dull boy."

To overcome their monotonous routine, the student and teachers of our school visited Goa during the Autumn Break. It was a wonderful trip by train running through the KonKan line and they witnessed the connecting tunnels as one of the best Workmanship by Indian Railways. In a four days stay students visited various beaches in North as well as South Goa. Cruises in Mandoni River, Dona Paula, Fort Aguada and Asia's Largest Cathedral Church.

INTERSCHOOL ON THE SPOT PAINTING COMPETITION

It  was a moment of  great pride and glory when Manvi Bal of Class V won the 2nd position and Mansi Bal of Class X won the 4th position in on the Spot Painting Competition held on 9 October 2015 at Mother Divine.  They were also awarded with Cash Prize of Rs. 1500 and Rs. 500 respectively.

Celebration of Vigilance Awareness Week

To create awareness about the role of Preventive Vigilance in reducing corruption at various levels and to strengthen the system of governance by making it more efficient Vigilance Awareness week was observed on MMPS from 26th October to 31st October. The school had organized various activities regarding the topic. The value of good governance was installed by making the students of class VI-VIII participate in Slogan Writing on "Preventive Vigilance." They made creative posters on "Transparency an antidote to corruption." Students of classes IX-X expressed their thoughts and ideas through Elocution on "Citizens Right to Good Governance." An inter-class debate was also organized for the students of class XI and XII on the topic "Preventive Vigilance sin-quo-non for Equitable Growth" on 28th October and the students shared their opinions about the topic. On 29th October Essay Writing activity was conducted on the topic "RTI Act a deterrent to corruption" that enhanced the knowledge of the students about the use of this effective tool - RTI. Then all in all these activities instilled in students the value of vigilance against corruption for the prosperity of the nation.

Central Level SUPW Art & Craft Exhibition

It is a moment of proud for all MMPIANS as on 30-10-2015 at  Science Center , SU Block ,  Pitam Pura. Our school has won first prize in SUPW Art & Craft Exhibition at Center Level and Shivam & Shubham  of Class IX  have been the shining star in the competition.

National School Games 2015

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students of M.M Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura achieved 3rd position in  National School Games 2015 held from 15th to 20th  October 2015  at Hydrabad .
