It was a moment of immense pleasure when Paras Arora of Class VIII achieved III position in Design a game - Stay Fit at Home (Physical Education) competition in “VANMAHOTSAV" event held virtually at Maharaja Agrasen Model School on August 8 2020.

Empowerment of women is a necessity for the very development of a society as it enhances both the quality and quantity of available resources for development. Achieving gender equality is essential for our society to ensure the sustainable development of the nation.

To commemorate and dedicated this special day, students of Grade IV and V played the role model of famous women personalities. Many students dedicated beautiful slogans depicting women empowerment.

Revered Principal Ma’am appreciated this act of budding young ones who beautifully dedicated this day to their mothers, sisters and teachers.

To create awareness among the society, NATIONAL WATER MISSION (NWM) under the department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, organizes a lecture series on third Friday of every month wherein leading water experts present innovative perspectives on current water issues in the country. Teachers and Students from class VI to XII attended 16th Water Talk on Aug 21, 2020. Students learned how to conserve water through new techniques like Rain Water Harvesting etc. Overall, it was an informative session.

To aware the students about the Sadbhavana Diwas, a virtual session was organized for them on 20th August 2020 on account of birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi. The main agenda of this activity was to make students understand to avoid violence and to promote good will among them. The students were shown the documentary based on life of Shri Rajiv Gandhi, then students did an activity in which they wrote good thoughts given by him which was followed by pledge taking ceremony.

Thus, the students enhanced their knowledge about the importance of “Sadbhavana Diwas”

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav. To honour the elephant headed lord Ganesha's birthday, various activities were organised virtually on August 20, 2020 for primary classes and little pals of Pre-Primary classes worshipped & chanted Ganesh ji on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on August 21, 20'.

Students of Primary Classes made drawing of Ganesh ji and decorate it with lentils and rice; made book mark, Ganesha Idol with clay and Paper cup Ganesh ji. Students were enjoying doing the activity and were chanting Ganpati Bappa Morya. Mangal Moorti Morya.

The young artisans of all the classes of our school made wonderful and magnificent drawings, sketches and paintings on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Even the covid-19 pandemic situation did not affect the zeal for celebration of the festival. A lot of fun - filled activities like painting, collage making were organised by the teachers to inculcate cultural values among the students.

Little toddlers watched a movie & enjoyed hearing each description of Lord Ganesha with cheer, Joy & faith. Imbibing mythological chapters in each child is the foremost effort done by each facilitator of M.M.P.S.

To celebrate VAN MAHOTSAV a Tree plantation drive was organized by ECO CLUB on 17th August 2020. To save our environment various saplings of ornamental and shady trees were planted by the Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak and   a virtual session was taken to create awareness among the students. Students have planted saplings with the help of their parents at home. The day proved to be a great success in spreading the importance of plantation.

Cleanliness is Next to Godliness....

The ill effects of dirty surroundings and need of keeping our surroundings clean was generated among young MMPians of class VIII on 17 August 2020 virtually as the artists through colourful and commendable posters showed that clean India will definitely lead to progressive nation in their online drawing classes. Students of class 8 made marvelous posters to spread Awareness to make Bharat Gandgi Mukt.

Thus, through the activity of Poster Making on Gandagi Mukt Bharat a great initiative of Cleanliness was clearly highlighted.

To make students understand the Mathematics concept in simple and easy way, a Mathematics activity was conducted virtually on August17, 2020.Students of Primary classes made Multiplication Chart on A4 sheet; Table Calendar by using waste material and Flow chart on Types of Fractions. The activity was very fruitful and beneficial as students enjoyed and understood the concept very well.

Let’s salute the nation on this auspicious day.

Celebrating Independence Day is our country’s beloved tradition. None of us might have ever imagined that a day will come when we will not be able to celebrate our favourite festival with our students due to this ongoing pandemic. But together the children of classes -2 to 5 pivoted to the virtual celebration to adapt to 2020’s challenges. The painstaking planning of synchronous activities and sharing of dance videos and the craft work made our celebrations merrier and magnificent. Videos of India's past history & how to be Independent were shown in the virtual classes. Students were taken for the virtual visit to the historical monuments of India. Students celebrated the day with freedom of thought, actions, performed different types of activities like making of peacock, badges, wall hanging, flags and speech was given reminding the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters. They also danced on patriotic songs.  At the end National Anthem was played & students honoured their National Flag.

 Together all the pics & videos when assembled made our virtual show splendid. It was the day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
