Achievement in State level SUPW Exhibition

State Level SUPW exhibition on the topic PAPER SE JUGAD was held from 12th December to 14th December 2017 at Science Center No. 2, Vasant Vihar where Komal and Muskan of class IX and Shivani and S. Abhinya of class VII won the 1st prize. The competition was highly enriching and successful in terms of exposure and confidence that students have gained.

Spellathon by English Club

To polish the power of vocabulary "Spellathon" was conducted for the students of classes III to XI on December 14, 2017. Students were well prepared and gave good result. They participated enthusiastically. It not only turned out to be a motivating factor for the students to excel in spellings but also enhanced their knowledge about different words and their meanings.

WINNERS AT SCHOOL ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN 2017-18

Another feather was added to the glory of M.M. Public School when the two gems, Ankush Dua (VIII-A) and Nishant Paliwal (VIII- B) secured Third position in Range Level Quiz Competition about  Road Safety held on 6th December, 2017 (Wednesday) at Traffic Training Park, Roshanara Bagh. This victory turned out to be more special when both the champions were awarded the cash prize of Rs. 2000 each and Appreciation Certificates on 14th December, 2017 by  Shri Dependra Pathak, IPS  Special Commissioner of Police / Traffic at Teen Murti Auditorium, New Delhi.

EXCELLENCE AWARD 2017-18

It was a proud moment when MMPS was felicitated with a School Excellence Award 2017-18 in an award function organized by BRAINFEED on 9th December 2017 at LeMeridian, Windsor Place, New Delhi. The award was received by Nursery teacher on behalf of revered Principal Madam, Mrs. Rooma Pathak.

Selection for National Level in RMO

It is a proud moment for school that Shashvat Gupta of Class XI has cleared the prestigious Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) from Delhi Region and he is among the 30 students selected to represent Delhi Region at National Level.

His selection has brought laurels to school. We wish him all the best for the next level !

63rd NATIONAL SCHOOL GAMES HUPKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP

It was a moment of immense pleasure when Rudraksh Pant of class IX achieved 1st position in 63rd National School Games Hupkwondo Championship under 45-48 kg. weight category in Under-19 Boys section  held from 7th - 12th November 2017 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

63rd NATIONAL SCHOOL GAMES FLOORBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

It was a moment of immense pleasure when BhavikaYadav of class VIII achieved 3rd  position in National School Games Floor Ball Championship in under-17 Junior Girls category held from 8th  - 16th November 2017 at Royal Kids school, Chattisgarh.

SMT. KRISHNA PATHAK MEMORIAL THIRTEENTH INTER SCHOOL PAINTING AND CRAFT COMPETITION

To pay homage to the founder of the school Late Smt. Krishna Pathak Thirteenth Inter School Painting and Craft Competition was organized on 29th November 2017 in M.M. Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura amidst great fervor and enthusiasm.

The Competition in the memory of the founder commenced with a welcome song by the students of class V, VI, VII and X. About three thousand six hundred students from 110 schools under various categories painted their vivid imagination in diverse colours on different topics like "Stop Child Abuse or Nation will Fuse", "No bird extinction with proper conservation", "For future generation do fuel conservation", "Speed thrill but kills, so observe road safety" and many others..  .

The whole competition was divided into three events. Event one comprised of Painting Competition for class Pre nursery to XII, Event two was Craft Competition for class VI to VIII on the theme 3D Sculpture of Lord Ganesha, Event three was Craft Competition for class IX to XII on the same theme.

The Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak appreciated and applauded the young artists for their commendable work in presenting variant styles and techniques in different forms of art.

Thus Smt. Krishna Pathak Memorial Thirteenth Inter School Painting and Craft Competition was a great success where the young budding artists not only got a golden opportunity to express their creative ideas and emotional responses but also their imagination brightened the dull surroundings with the vibrant colours.

Achievement in CBSE National Lawn Tennis

It was a moment of immense pleasure when our Lawn Tennis champs, Daksh Gupta of class VII, Pranshu Garg of class VIII, Kanishk Pal and Maitreya Rana of class IX, achieved III position in CBSE National Lawn Tennis in Under-17 Boys category and in Mixed Doubles too which held from 6th November 2017 to 11th November 2017 in Bannari Amman Public School, Tamil Nadu.

SELECTION OF SCIENCE MODELS FOR STATE LEVEL

It was a matter of immense pride and glory when models based on the theme, Innovations for Sustainable Development were selected for State level in Science Exhibition 2017-18 held from 15.11.2017 to 17.11.2017 at Science Centre No. 1, SU Block- Pitampura. The students showcased their talent at Centre Level and were not only appreciated and declared as winners but also awarded with trophies and certificates.

The models Transport Management in a Smart City prepared by Sanket Barman and Tejasv Mudgal of class XI and Advantages of choosing triangles over squares in construction of bridges by Ishika Rajwar and Milind Gupta of class XI were selected.

The competition was highly informative and educative. The school wishes them all the best for the state level exhibition.
