Judo Zonal Competition

It was a moment of pleasure and pride when our school students achieved II and III positions in different categories in Zonal Judo Competition held on 23rd - 24th August 2016 at DAV Pushpanjali.

In Boys Category following students achieved II position

POSTER COMPETITION

Students of Arts & Craft Club participated in Poster making competition. In which the students of Art & Craft made Posters on the topic- Climate change and Role of Citizen, Water Conservation, and Role of Citizen to conserve energy and to promote non-renewable energy sources these posters will be send to Indian Environmental Society for Motivating Attracting Students for Society (MASS). All the students of Art & Craft Club took participated in it with great enthusiasm. The competition was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Priti Anand (H.O.D of Art & Craft).

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

Art & Craft Club organized a Poster Making Competition on 12 August 2016. In which all the students of School  made posters on the topic- India's struggle for Freedom from 1857 to 1947. All the students of Art &Craft Club participated in it with great enthusiasm. These posters will be sent to Zone office for Swatantra Senani Yadgar Samaroh. The competition was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Priti Anand (H.O.D of Art & Craft)

Janmashtami Celebration

Vrindavan Nagri was created for classes LKG and UKG where students created a lively atmosphere and tried to catch the incense of various Radha-Krishan moments in their exhibits. 
The Vrindavan Nagri was full of life, activities of Gopi?s of Krishan, display from various moments. One can?t miss eating Makhan and Mishari from sweet little hands of Radha and Krishan after their beautiful Journey.

Children also enjoyed watching movie about the life of Radha and Krishan and listening dancing to music as well.

 

Independence Day and Fancy Dress celebration

"A day spent in the memories of Freedom Fighters.."

A special celebration of Independence Day for Mont classes was organized on 12th August 2016. There were many young freedom fighters who performed on the stage like a real hero. The dance drama showcased the forgotten memories of the freedom struggle, chronicling the sacrifices of the great men and women of the first half of the last century in the turbulent history of modern India.

When principal mam Hoist the flag everyone salute the flag and sang National Anthem in a chorus.

FLAME LESS COOKING (VEGETABLE SAND WICH)

The tiny tots of Class I participated in Flameless Cooking activity on 24th August 2016. They enjoyed making vegetable sandwich by putting different vegetables i.e. cucumber, tomato, onion etc. in between the slices of bread. They learnt about the importance of eating healthy food. They were excited after preparing the vegetable sandwich and shared it with their friends.

WRESTLING ZONAL COMPETITION

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students from MMPS achieved various positions 1st  in zonal competition of Wrestling held on 20th August  2016  at S.V Kailash Enclave Delhi. Details of the students who baged various positions :

RALLY ON CLEANLINESS DRIVE

To sensitize and create awareness about cleanliness a rally was undertaken on 19 August, 2016. The rally was flagged off by Ms. Bobby along with Ms. Sunita Dhingra and Ms. Jyoti (Members of Swacchta Ambassador Committee). They went to the areas nearby the school and met the people over there. They encouraged them to undertake hygiene and sanitation related activities. They distributed pamphlets and also asked the people to fill the feedback form. The rally was undertaken successfully as the local people showed their great interest in it. Not only they shared their problems but also gave their valuable suggestions which should be implemented to keep the surroundings clean and hygienic.

 

Hand Wash Activity by Health and Hygiene Club

An activity was organized by health and hygiene club on HOW TO WASH HANDS. Students very actively participated in that activity. They were taught various methods of how to wash their hands to keep away from germs.

 They were also taught how to maintain physical hygiene as we all know good health is the biggest wealth. They had made poster?s also to create awareness about the importance of god health.

From this activity they understood the necessity of maintaining physical hygiene.
