To instill healthy habits and polish the speaking skills among the students English club organised Debate competition for the students of classes VI - IX on 27 April, 2018 on the topic Healthy Habits. The debate aimed to inculcate healthy lifestyle in students by encouraging them to follow certain regular habits like dressing up properly, maintaining personal hygiene. The students not only participated with great zeal but also shared their views by giving real life example on health and hygiene. Thus the debate turned out to be quite inspiring for the students. The winners were S.Abhinya (VIII B): in favour of the motion and Yaasir (VIII B) against the motion.

To inculcate the cognitive skills and to brush up the sentence formation ability of the students, Spellathon was conducted in classes III to XI on 26th April 2018. It was able to unfold the confidence of the students. Most of the participants according to their grade level were well prepared with remarkable vocabulary and wrote word after word with great enthusiasm. Overall it was an enlightening and enriching experience for the students.

English Handwriting Competition was conducted for the students from classes U.K.G to II on April 26, 2018 to improve the calligraphy skills of little MMPians. The competition was conducted in the classrooms. All the students participated with great zeal and passion. They were judged on the basis of word formation, neatness and presentation. The competition ended with joy. The names of the winners were announced and are follows :

Malnutrition refers to deficiencies, excesses or imbalances in a person's intake of energy or nutrients, which may lead to a lack of vitamins, minerals, and other essential substances and can cause night blindness, scurvy, rickets, etc. So to inculcate the value of being healthy and to enlighten the students about the common diseases caused by malnutrition, the students of Science club under the guidance of Ms. Rashmi (Science club Incharge) conducted a research on different diseases caused due to malnutrition and shared the valuable information about diseases, symptoms and their effective cure with other students on 26th April, 2018. Thus, this session was very enriching and fruitful for all the students.

Monuments represent our traditions, history and art. They are the wonders of the bygone era. To enhance the knowledge of the students about the rich heritage and to aware them about the threats on them, an activity was conducted by HERITAGE CLUB on the importance of HISTORICAL MONUMENTS for the students of Class VI B on 26 April, 2018 in their respective class. The slides about the historical monuments were shown on the smart board. The students also shared their views and suggested different ways to protect these memorials. Thus, the activity proved highly beneficial for the students as it enlightened them about our history and the preservation of the monuments. 

It was a moment of pride for our school when Pratima Agnani of class XIIA won Bronze medal in the Science and Innovation Fair 2018 held on 23 April 2018 by FGSI (Foundation for Global Sciences Initiatives, Mumbai) which is a unique platform that promotes and nurtures an ambience of scientific research amongst secondary & higher secondary schools. The guide teacher Ms. Sandhya Sharma was also presented with the certificate of Appreciation for her contribution towards the project. The school congratulates Pratima and wishes her success in all endeavors.

Tiny tots of MMPS celebrated Red colour day on April 24, 2018. Not only sweet little angels were dressed up beautifully in red colour clothes but teachers too were also in red colour dresses. The day started with introduction of red colour and display of red colour objects like Tomato, Crayon, Apples, Apron etc. and continued with activities related to red colour. All children participated and were very happy. They were amused seeing all red around them. A lovely day passed by with getting introduced to the colour of love ? Red Colour.

Hand Wash activity was conducted by Health & Hygiene club on 24th April 2018 for classes II and III. Students learnt the correct ways of washing the hands through a display chart and demonstration of hand wash activity using towel and soap or dispenser. They learnt how they can protect themselves from germs by washing their hands before and after every meal and every time they use toilets. This workshop turned out to be informative. 

MMPS has always believed in inculcating moral values, empathy and basic essential social skills among the students to make them a better human being. So to sensitize and create awareness about cleanliness and its benefits among the students of classes I to IX, a cleanliness drive was conducted on 24th April 2018. The students not only cleaned their respective classes and corridors with joy but also showed great interest participating in the drive. The students shared their valuable ideas and suggestions about cleanliness. The students were given some handy tips to keep their surroundings clean and they also learned the importance of labor and unity.  Thus, the whole drive was quite inspiring and motivating for the students.

Every year April 22 is observed as Earth Day worldwide to create awareness for the conservation of environment. In our school it was celebrated on 20th April 2018 by Eco Club to focus on the unique environmental challenges of our time. A rally was organized in residential areas of Pitampura. About 35 students of class VIII-B participated in the rally. The banners & slogans were the main attractions of the rally. The most important part of the campaign was the awareness about environment created by students through powerful slogans. Revered Principal madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak encouraged the students to take up more such ECO friendly initiatives to save environment.
