World Heritage is the shared wealth of humankind. Protecting and preserving this valuable asset demands the collective efforts of the international community. This special day offers an opportunity to raise the public's awareness about the diversity of cultural heritage and the efforts that are required to protect and conserve it, as well as draw attention to its vulnerability.
On the occasion of World Heritage Day Heritage walk was organized by Heritage club. Students of class VII conducted rally till Sheesh Mahal in Shalimar Bagh to create awareness among people to protect and preserve the world heritage. Students interacted with people and told them about the meaning on Heritage and its importance.
To invoke the value of spirituality among the students "Hawan" was organized for class II-A and II-B on 21st April 2016. Students participated with full enthusiasm under the guidance of their class teachers Ms. Neelima and Ms. Shilpa Sharma. Students touched the feet of priest after covering their heads with handkerchiefs to get his blessings .The students chanted Gayatri and Maha Mrityunjay mantra whose meaning was well explained by the priest.
Thus, it was all in all an enriching and motivating experience for them.
Self-introduction itself means giving information about oneself and family.
Another activity named as self-introduction was conducted for Mont. and K.G. kids on 21st April, 2016.
Children introduced themselves by telling their names, their parent's name, class in which they study, age and hobbies after wishing their teachers and friends. All the children were marvelous and they concluded by saying thanks to the listeners.
Student gained confidence and felt an urge to learn more and more. The activity helped children to come out of their comfort zone and speak in front of the other students.

On the occasion of the World Heritage Day on 18 April, 2016, a special assembly was organized to create awareness among kids to protect their heritage. Students of Heritage Club had prepared board and banners.
Shelja of Class XII gave an impressive speech on World Heritage to educate the youth to protect and preserve the heritage of the world.
