Diwali Celebration By Pre Primary

Diwali-A festival of lights and one of the most prominent, famous as well as favourite Hindu festival was  celebrated with great enthusiasm by tiny tots on 28th October 2016 with great fervor and zeal. Students enjoyed the festival by making vibrant Rangolis, Decorating beautiful diyas, exchanging sweets and preparing paper crackers. Very devotedly they sang the Aarti of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi. The celebrations were done with great joy and at the end they wished everyone ?Happy Deepawali.?

ECO-FRIENDLY DIWALI

To create awareness to have a safe and healthy DIWALI a Special Assembly on 28th October was organized by the school. The program was graced by our revered Principal Ms. Rooma Pathak. An initiative was taken to spread the message that crackers should not be used as they degrade the environment. Students performed ballad, dance, skits, and poems to bring the festivity to the environment. Speech and Precautions were given to the students to celebrate Eco- Friendly Diwali for which people must use organic colors to make Rangoli. Instead of bursting crackers children should give gifts, sweets and toys to underprivileged people. Instead of consuming electricity people should use clay lamps to chase away the darkness as Diwali is the festival of lights.Holistic view was created among the students to save the environment. All in all it was an informative assembly to the students. 

ACHIEVEMENT IN CBSE BASKET BALL

It was a moment of  great glory when the Basket team of our school achieved  I position in CBSE CLUSTER  XX Basket Ball Tournament held  at ITL Public school, Sector-9, Dwarka from 20th to 27th  October  2016 . The players showed their praise worthy performance.

CBSE Central Zone Tennis Championship 2016-17

Recreation is the part of education and it is best manifested in sports. Therefore, to enhance the sporting skills of sports stars, CBSE Central Zone Tennis Tournament Championship 2016-17 was held from 21st October 2016 to 25th October 2016 in M.M. Public School under four categories i.e. Under -14 Boys, Under- 19 Boys, Under-14 Girls and Under-19 Girls. The Joint Director of the Sports of CBSE Mr. Pushkar Vohra graced the event and encouraged the players to excel and raise the Tennis to great heights. Around 76 teams under Boys and Girls from different schools showed breath taking performance. The display of talent, energy and coordination among the different teams was seen on both the days.

The Prize Ceremony was held on 25th October, 2016.Prizes to the winners was given by the Principal of the school.  Which was a follows :

ROAD SAFETY QUIZ

The Reader?s Club of the school organized Quiz Competition on Road safety in the school premises on 26.10.2016. The students from class VII, VIII and XI were participated. In this quiz students came to know about the importance of road safety rules and awareness about road accidents. And they learn how to help injured people in road accidents or how give first-aid

HINDI SADAN

PAMPHLET MAKING ON REDUCE,REUSE AND RECYCLE

To create awareness among the students of class Xth on how to handle waste an activity based on the theme reduce, reuse and recycle was conducted for the students of Eco club on 25th Oct?16 .

Students prepared pamphlets ?waste management saves the planet? ?don?t be in haste recycle waste? explaining three great ways to eliminate waste and protect our environment.

CENTRAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

Science central exhibition on the topic KABAD SE JUGAD WAS HELD ON October 20th to 22nd 2016. 2 Students Shruti and Muskan of class X participated with zeal. Their hard work was applauded. They won the 1st prize and got qualified for the State level. Students response was that the not only happy to win but also they learnt a lot from their fellow students and other participating school. So the competition was highly enriching and successful.

 

CBSE CENTRAL ZONE HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2016-2017

It was a moment of immense pleasure when our Hand Ball Under-19 Girls team achieved 4th position in CBSE CENTRAL ZONE HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2016-2017 held from 5th to 7th October 2016 at Yuva Shakti Model School

Dussehra Celebration

Dusshera an important Hindu festival was celebrated by tiny tots on 7th October?2016 in school. Children enjoyed the dramatic story of Ramayan and later on they were taken to the ground to burn effigies of Ravan. Children were also told about Navratri and Durga Pooja celebration. At the end of the day suspense for Diwali Festival was created.
