SCHOOL SESSION
The academic session of the school is from April 1st to 31st March of the next year.

7:55 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
All Saturday of every month will remain closed for all classes.

 

PARENT TEACHER CONSULTATION
Please note that it is policy of the school not to over burden the students with too much of home work . Class work and other school activities are given more importance than home work so the parents are not over burdened .Parents can hold consultation with the principal and the teachers concerned about the progress of their wards and plan special remedial  measure  if needed .

REMEDIAL CLASSES
Students who are weak in studies are provided the oppurtunity to attend the special classes (in difficult subjects) which are held by subject teachers in the zero period immediately after assembly.

 

PARENT- TEACHER COOPERATION
It would be in the interest of students if parents try occasionally to find out whether their wards are making use of the opportunities provided by the school. The following points are suggested to guide the parents :-

  1. They are requested to look into the school diary of their ward daily & see that the lessons & home work assigned for the day are done.
  2. Remarks made in the diary should be seen and countersigned regularly
  3. Their ward should be regular, punctual and in proper uniform.
  4. They should inform the school authorities about any change in their address or Telephone number.
  5. They should deposit the monthly fee of their ward in time i.e. before the 10th of the month in which the fee is due .
  6. They should send the leave application of their ward to the school one day in advance & get the same sanctioned for the leave if required.
  7. Parents should not meet their ward or his/ her teacher directly in the class without the permission of the Principal.
  8. If the Parents have any complaint it should be written and put in the drop box at the reception.
  9. They should cooperate with the school authorities in maintaining the standard of the school, in the students activities and in the student’s achievements specially in the Board Exam and improve them in all possible ways.
  10. Parents must fill the attendance record and check circular record, Punctuality record , Uniform record and Teacher’s remarks printed in the diary.

 

ENGLISH CONVERSATION
English is the only language that is understood by and is acceptable to almost all the countries of the world. Today it has become an indispensable part of the government administration, private business and medical profession. Thus, in order to make our students confident in their day-to-day dealings with the outer world English - conversation has been made mandatory in the school.

 

ATTENDANCE
A pupil may not be allowed to sit in the annual examination if he/she has not put in a minimum of 80% of the total attendance of the academic year including the attendance put in at a previous school if the student has been admitted on transfer.

RULES FOR PAYMENT OF FEES
The fee may be paid in cash or by cheque at the school fee counter by the 10th of the due month, failing which it can be deposited upto 15th of the month with late fine of Rs. 50/ – only, failing which it can further be paid upto 20th of the month with late fee fine of Rs. 100/- only. It can further be paid upto 25th of the month with late fine of Rs. 150/- It can also be paid by the last date of month with late fee fine of Rs. 200/-- only.

If fee is not paid by the last day of the month , the name of the student will be struck off the rolls of the school without any intimation.

The Students will be re-admitted with usual re-admission fee along with last month’s fine at the discretion of the Principal.

The fee should not be handed over to any employee of the school or bus driver or conductor except the fee clerk at the fee counter in school against a fee receipt.

The fee is to be paid in the following manner-

April by the 10th of April (1 month)
May & June by the 10th of May (2 months)
July with ½ Annual charges by the 10th of July (1 month)
August by the 10th of August (1 month)
September with other ½ of Annual charges by the 10th of August (1 month)
October November by the 10th of October (2 months)
December January by the 10th of December (2 months)
February & March by the 10th of February (2 months)

FEE COLLECTION TIME

Monday to Saturday: 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

The fee may be paid in cash or by cheque at the fee counter.

SCHOOL RULES
Every child of the school will observe the following rules. Any breach of them will be punishable. Frequent breach will be dealt severely.

1. Every Child is expected to be in full school uniform. Girls are expected to be dressed in a simple and neat manner. No ornaments are permitted.

2. Prefects are expected to check the uniform, neatness, cleanliness, the nails and the hands of the students and also that each one of them has a neat and white handkerchief.

3. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.

4. No student is allowed to eat anything during the school hours except during the recess.

5. A student who is selected for paticipation in a particular competition or activity is not expected to absent himself/ herself from the school unless he/ she has obtained previous permission from the activity-in-charge and also has informed his/her class teacher.

6. No student is allowed to leave the class without the prior permission of the teacher concerned. He/ she must have an outpass while he/she is away from the class.

7. Pupils owe respect to the school authorities and the teaching staff. They are expected to greet them on all suitable occasions.

8. All the students must wear the badges if any, regularly.

9. No child is expected to purchase any eatable from any outside hawkers.

10. When Children are moving outside the class in a group, they are expected to move in a line. They should not put their hand round the waist or the neck of their mates.

11. The responsibility of the school towards the students is limited to the school hours only.

 

CONDUCT RULES

1. Every child should carry his/her school diary with him/her daily.

2. All the students should arrive at the school before the morning bell is rung.

3. The morning bell before the class starts is a signal for all to go to the Assembly in lines and in silence. After the Assembly they should go to their classes in lines and in silence.

4. Changing of class rooms between periods should be done in silence and in order.

5. All the students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days and for school functions. (A student who is slovenly dressed or is not in uniform may be sent home).

6. The behaviour of the students should be gentlemanly at all times and in all places both inside and outside the school. No shouting or whistling is allowed within the school premises. It is strictly forbidden to throw anything on one another or to call any one from a distance.

7. Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil desk or chair or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. (Any damage to the school property including ink stains will be made good at the cost of the offender).

8. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher. Any damage will be made good by the one who did it.

9. No books (other than text books or library books), magazines or papers may be brought to the school without the Principal's permission. Money should not be lent or borrowed.

10. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like expensive watches or fountain pens etc. to the school.

11. Students who come to the school in the care of servants or parents should never leave before the servants or parents arrive. In case of delay they should report the matter to the school office.

12. The student whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little interest in his/her progress may be expelled from the school. Immorality, grave insubordination or contempt of authority are sufficient for immediate expulsion from the school.

13. Parents or guardians are not permitted to visit their wards or their teachers in the classrooms on ordinary working days. They should see them after contacting the Principal.

14. Students must get their progress report signed by their guardians within two days of the receipt thereof.

15. The pupils who are found to be the best in all respects (attendance, activities and academics) will be suitably awarded.

16. Exemption from mass P.T. can only be given on production of a medical certificate.

17. No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the prior permission of the Principal.

18. All the leave applications must reach the Principal before the actual leave is availed of. The name of the pupil who remains continuously absent for 6 days without intimation will be struck off the rolls. He/She can be re-admitted with the usual re-admission fees at the sole discretion of the school authorities.

19. Parents are not allowed to engage any school teacher for the private tuition of their children at home without the permission of the school authorities.

20. Students must not bring mobile phones to the school if found it will not be returned back.

21. Lunch boxes must be brought from home in the morning only.

SCHOOL TRANSPORT

The School Transport facility is provided at the parent's/ Guardian's risk for the students to come to the school and to go to their home at nominal charges.

1. All efforts are made to bring and send the children in time; but in case of unavoidable circumstances like puncture, failure of machine and bad weather etc. the school is not responsible for providing the transport facility or to bring the children to the school or take them home.

2. The School authorities have no responsibility for any accident and/or injury etc. arising out of any mechanical negligence of the driver or the conductor.

3. The student will be picked up and/or dropped at the stops fixed by the authorities and the children are expected to be at their stops 5 minutes earlier. They are expected to board and alight from the bus in a line.

4. Discontinuation of the transport facility will not be allowed by a student during the session and every child has to pay the bus charges for eleven months only.


5. At present the transport facility is available within a radius of 5 km to the following places / colonies and can further be extended to any place / colony at the discretion of the school authorities. Shalimar bagh, Ashok vihar, Model town, Derawal nagar, Lawrence road, Sri nagar, Rajdhani enclave, Sant nagar, Krishna vihar, Mangol pur khurd, Avantika, Pushpanjali, Mangol pur kalan, Rohini, Pitampura, Rani bagh, Budh vihar, Rithala, Chander lok, Punjabi bagh, Tri nagar, Adarsh nagar, Shastri nagar etc.

6. The school authorities reserve the rights to amend and/or alter the school rules, conduct rules, fee rules, bus rules and other rules if any without any notice and without assigning any reason.
